Levi came to a stop. He shut his eyes, exhausted, and trying to catch his breath.

He slowly opened his eyes, and he froze.

A boy with light purple hair in the distance had bent down to pick up the boat that bumped into a rock in the river. He inspected it and looked towards the way it came from.

He and Levi made eye contact. There was silence for a few seconds, and the boy awkwardly smiled.

He raised his hand to wave, but Levi had already started running back home.

The Lavender boy reached out a hand but the other had already disappeared into the woods.

Levi slammed the door open and immidiately rushed inside. He panted heavily as he slid down the wall. His mom walked out of the kitchen and put a hand on her hip. "You're home earlier than usual," she said, and Levi stood up. He walked past her and went upstairs to his room not responding back.

Levi shut his door and threw himself on his bed, staring up at the ceiling in thought.

' Who was he? ' he mumbled as the image of the lavender boy appeared in his head again. ' He looked really similar to the pretty lady next door... ' An image of the boy's smile and eyes appeared and Levi scrunched his face.

He shoved his face in his pillow. ' He was really weird. '

Levi's mood dropped and he squinted his eyes. He didn't like him. He hope he never saw him again.

-----------------

"Levi, come down for dinner!" His mother called, followed by a knock at the door. "Coming!"

The black haired boy groaned as he made his way downstairs. When he reached the bottom he peeked to see who was at the door. He squinted his eyes in realization of who it was.

It was the weirdo from earlier. Holding...the boat? Levi was surprised. He had ran in such a hurry that he forgot his boat, and now the weirdo had came to give it back.

The lavender boy held out the boat and Levi's mom thanked him and had held out a hand signaling him to stay. Once, his mom disappeared into the kitchen, the lavender boy noticed Levi and lightly waved. Levi gave him a heavy glare and the boy hesitantly put his hand down and let out a small nervous smile.

His mother finally came out with a letter and handed it to the boy. She said some words to him and he ran off.

' Stupid weirdo forgot to leave the boat here ' Levi rolled his eyes and his mother turned around to face him. "Do you know that boy?" She questioned him as he scrunched up his face. "That weirdo? Nope," Levi's mom smacked the back of his head and watched as he held the spot and glared up at her. "Now be nice, he's a good kid," She said  walking to the kitchen. Levi shrugged and followed her.

She was setting up two more plates on the table. Levi eyed it suspiciously and a few minutes later he heard another knock at the door. His mom motioned her head at the door telling him to get it. He sighed as he went to open the door.

"O-Oh, why hello Levi," The lady said gently as she gave him a warm smile. It was their neighbor. Levi barely noticed the kid behind her. Levi's mom welcomed them in, but the lavender boy stood at the doorway even after his mom disappeared into the kitchen. Levi, who was still standing at the door, gave the boy another glare. The boy gulped and opened his mouth to say something, but Levi had shut the door in his face.

The boy walked towards the kitchen and sat down in the chair. "Where's the kid?" His mother asked, looking towards the door. He shrugged, looking in another direction.

Moments later the boy walked in and quietly closed the door as the three of them stared at him. He kept his focus on the floor in front of him for a few seconds, and then held up the boat. "Oh! He went to get the boat," Levi's mom sighed of relief as well as his mom. Levi just rolled his eyes.

--------------------------

They were all done eating dinner and the two ladies were cleaning up the kitchen. "Levi," His mom said as he was trying to sneak away. "Why don't the two of you properly meet each other? Take him up to your room with you!" She exclaimed. The lavender boy got frantic and started waving his hands around, shaking his head.

"Sure," Levi said pulling the other by the wrist upstairs. The other boy was confused. Earlier Levi was giving him death glares and ignoring him. Maybe he wanted to be friends? His eyes sparkled at the thought. A friend. He always wanted a friend.

They made it up to the room and Levi locked the door as the other got a look around. He was amazed by it and his facial expressions showed it all. The boy turned around to face Levi, but as soon as he did, Levi aggressively snatched the boat from his hand and gave him a heavy glare.

"Why did you come here?" Levi asked. Of course he knew the answer, but he wanted to hear the other talk. He hadn't said a single word, he had only made weird hand gestures and it was pissing off Levi.

The lavender boy picked up his hands to motion towards the boat, but Levi immediately slaps them away. "No, not one of your weird hand signs! Don't give me that crap!" He said almost yelling.

The other was taken aback. He let out a small hesitant smile and pulled out a sticky note and pencil from his pocket. Levi, who was staring in confusion froze where he was as the other quickly wrote something.

' I came to give you your boat back. I'm sorry if I troubled you ' The note read as he held it out shyly.

Levi's eyes rolled his eyes.

"Just as I thought. You really are a weirdo!" Levi laughed as he pushed the boy onto the floor. The lavender boy held up his arms in defense as he landed on the ground.

"Boys, what's going on?" Levi had heard his mom say from down stairs. "Nothing mom, he just accidently tripped." He replied back. The boy had looked up at the other. "Listen, don't come around me again. I don't like weirdos," Levi stated as he unlocked the door and walked out. The other slowly followed, completely silent.

"Light honey, it's time to go," The lady said as she gently grabbed his hand and led him to the doorway.

'Light?' Levi thought. The boy even had a weird name. How funny.

The lady said her goodbyes, and Light had only did a small wave and they left.

----------------------

'Maybe I was a little too harsh...' The black haired boy stared at his ceiling again and sighed.

'Whatever.'

His eyes slowly closed and he fell into a deep sleep.
