They've always been at one another's throats, but all Tori Vega wants is to be friends with Jade West. When Jade breaks up with Beck because of a mock game show put together by Sinjin about how much couples know about each other, she not only blames...
The day is finally here. Today is the day that I get married to the love of my life, Tori Vega. The problem is, things start to go wrong almost immediately when I almost fall flat on my face after my sock got caught on an exposed nail in the floor. Then I come way too close for comfort to burning our breakfast. "Jade, can I talk to you?" Tori asks after breakfast, and her tone sounds uncomfortable, like she has bad news to tell me. "What's up, babygirl?" I ask. "Um... I don't know how to tell you this without upsetting you, but... someone called and said that they couldn't come to the wedding," she says, and I have a nasty feeling that I know who. "Who was it?" I ask anyway. "It was Cat. She said that something happened to her Nona, and she had to take her to the hospital. She said not to call off the wedding, though. She really doesn't want us to cancel our wedding because of her. She knows how much we want to be married, and she doesn't want to make us wait any longer because of something out of anyone's control," she says, and I pull out my phone. "Hello?" Asks my friend Courtney when she answers her phone. "Listen, my best friend Cat isn't going to be able to come to the wedding. Would you be my maid of honor instead?" I ask her. "Sure. I'm already on my way to L.A., so I'll meet you at your apartment shortly, does that work?" She asks. "Sure," I say, and we both hang up. "I've gotta go get Cat's bridesmaid dress. I'll be right back," I say, giving Tori a kiss on the cheek before I leave.
When I return to the apartment, I put the bridesmaid dress on the table, just as there's a knock on the door. I answer it and smile at the woman on the other side. "Hey Jade," Courtney says. "Hey Courtney. Come on in," I say, stepping aside to let her in. She walks in and, seemingly deliberately, makes her long deep blue hair brush my face, allowing me to smell the strawberry scent of it. "This is my fiancée, Tori Vega," I say, introducing her to Tori. "Hey Tori. I'm Jade's friend Courtney Rovell," she says, sitting down next to Tori and cozying right up next to her, so I clear my throat. "What?" Courtney asks innocently. "One, Tori is mine. Two, that whole innocent thing hasn't fooled me in a long time. Please, don't use your talent for flirting with girls on either of us," I say in mild annoyance. "Oh, sorry hon. I don't know when to turn it off sometimes," she says. "Look, you don't have to feel bad about it. I guess I'm more sensitive to people trying to flirt with my fiancée, with everything that I had to go through to earn the chance to call her mine," I say. "I totally get it. Remember how I used to be when we were together?" She asks. "Wait. Jade, you and Courtney used to date?" Tori asks. "Yes, before I went to Hollywood Arts, we found that we had feelings for each other in seventh grade, and we were together until I went to Hollywood Arts," I explain.
"So, where's that adorable redhead, Cat?" Courtney asks. "She's at the hospital with her Nona. That's all she said on the phone, according to Tori," I say. "I'll have to go see her after the wedding. It's been such a long time since I last saw her," Courtney says. "Speaking of which, we have to get going, or we're gonna be late," Tori says, checking the time. "Is it really that time already?" I ask. "Yes, now come on, guys!" She says, and we all get into our cars and drive to the park for our wedding.
I enter a room to get ready, laying my eyes on my wedding dress for the first time since I bought it. It's perfect, the way that the black gems sparkle in contrast to the white color of the dress. "You look beautiful, Jade. Tori is such a lucky woman to be marrying you," Courtney says. "Thank you. I'm lucky to be marrying her, too," I reply with a dreamy smile. Courtney helps me put on my veil, then she does my makeup. "Perfect! You're all set! I'll let your dad know that you're ready, then I'll take my place. See you soon!" She says, rushing out of the room. A few minutes later, my father walks into the room, wearing a black suit, his ocean blue eyes taking in my appearance. "Hey Jade. I must admit, when I got your wedding invitation, I was kind of surprised. I didn't think you'd want anything to do with me after I just up and left," he says calmly. "It wasn't very easy to find your address, but I'm glad I did, and I'm glad that you're here," I reply. "I'm happy to be here, Jade. I will admit, I wasn't expecting to find out that you were marrying a woman, but if she makes you happy, then I'm happy for you," he says with a smile. "Thank you. That means a lot to me," I say. "I'm really proud of you, sweetheart. I was there when you sang that song, "You Don't Know Me." It's a real masterpiece," he says. "You mean it? I thought you saw showbusiness as nothing but a way of getting rich quick," I say. "I used to, but now I have a better understanding of the work that those film directors have to go through, and the crap that they often have to deal with," Dad explains. He links his arm with mine by the elbow, and I take a deep breath before we walk out.
When I walk out, I see Tori, and I gasp softly. She looks amazing in her white dress, complete with a flower in her hair. I pretty much tune out everyone else and focus solely on her, taking in her beauty. I get to the altar, and she lifts my veil. "You look gorgeous, sweetie," she says with a smile. "So do you, babygirl," I say with a smile. The wedding ceremony begins, and I'm asked to say my vows first. "Tori, I have to admit, I wasn't exactly the kindest person to you, but that's in the past. I will never treat you like that again. You're precious to me. I will treasure your love for the rest of my life. I love you so much," I say affectionately, then it's Tori's turn. "Jade, I've had a crush on you pretty much since the day that we met. I know that we were never really all that close early on, but after everything that we've been through since, I'm glad that we got together. You're my whole world, and I can't believe that I'm going to be able to call you my wife soon," she says. "Tori, do you take Jade to be your wife?" The priest asks Tori. "I do," she says. "Jade, do you take Tori to be your wife?" He asks me. "I do," I say with a smile. "Then I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may kiss the bride," the priest says, and Tori pulls me into a deep kiss.
During the wedding reception, I dance with my new wife Tori, enjoying the whole experience. We cut the cake, and we each feed each other a piece of cake. After the recession, Tori and I head to our apartment to change into some normal clothes, then we go to the airport to leave for our honeymoon in Florida. When we get on the plane, I think that I recognize a group of guys sitting near us, but I think nothing of it.

New chapter for you to enjoy. I put a picture below of the guys that Jade thought she recognized. See if you can guess who they are, if you want. I'll give you a little hint: I used them in one of my other Jori fanfictions. Until next time!
