Well, it's that time of year again. Christmas. Jade's surprisingly upbeat about it, considering that she usually hates most holidays, with the exception of Halloween. She can be pretty... scary around Halloween. Not that it's a bad thing, I mean, Halloween is all about scaring people's socks off, really. It really suits Jade, as opposed to Christmas, but ever since we got together, she's been really happy compared to how she was before. It's a nice change, since she still has some of the same personality quirks, so she's not a completely different person than she was before. I like how cheerful and upbeat she's become, because it makes her a little bit easier to deal with, and she's not negative about everything, either. I sneak up behind her while she's at her locker at the end of the day on Friday the 23rd, tapping her shoulder. "Ah! Oh, sweetheart, you scared me! I didn't even hear you coming," she says. "Sorry babygirl. I just wanted to have some fun with you, that's all," I reply. "I didn't say that I didn't like it. I was just saying that you scared me," she says. I smile and playfully nip her ear, causing her to shiver ever-so-slightly. "Did you like that?" I ask her. "Yeah. That felt pretty good, actually," she says softly. "Well, I suppose we should get going. See you later," I say, giving her a quick kiss before heading out to my car, while Jade goes to her own car.
We drive to my house and spend the rest of the afternoon watching Christmas movies, since we have the place to ourselves until sometime tomorrow, since Trina's off spending time with a friend, and my parents were on a vacation. "This is nice, having a place all to ourselves. It's nice to spend time with you all alone like this," Jade says, and I realize that her hand is resting on my leg, and she's lightly stroking it back and forth. "Uh, what are you doing?" I ask. "Shhhhh. Just relax, sweetheart," she replies softly, a strange look in her eyes. "Okay..." I say, relaxing a little bit. "Why are you so tense, sweetheart. What is it?" She asks me sweetly. "You're just acting a little odd. You're rubbing my leg like it's perfectly normal," I say, and she takes her hand off my leg. "Sorry. I thought it was okay..." she says quietly, looking at her feet. "I didn't say that I wasn't enjoying it," I say sweetly, and Jade looks at me. "You really mean it?" She asks. "Of course I do. It felt pretty nice, actually," I say, and she goes back to lightly rubbing my leg like before, making me blush a bit.
When I wake up on Christmas day, I find Jade still asleep beside me, so I watch her sleep for a bit. When she wakes up, I smile sweetly at her, and she returns my smile. "Morning, my love," I say softly. "Morning, hon. Merry Christmas," she replies softly, sitting up in bed. "I'm so glad you're here for Christmas, babygirl. I couldn't imagine anything better," I say, hopping out of bed. "You're full of energy for having just woken up," she says, climbing out of bed. Both of us get out an outfit for the day, as well as a towel, before I go take a shower. After I take my shower, Jade takes hers, and then we head downstairs to meet up with the rest of my family. When we arrive at the bottom of the stairs, we're both surprised to see Jade's mother talking to my mother, and her younger brother Matt talking to my father. "Mom, Matt, when did you get here?" She asks. "Just a few minutes ago. Tori's parents invited us to join you all, so we thought that it would be a nice surprise," her mother says with a kind smile. "This is pretty cool, babygirl. Both of our families together for Christmas with us," I say. "Yeah, I like it too. It's really nice. It makes me think about our future," Jade says, and I look at her. "O-our future?" I ask her in surprise. "Yeah, like uh, I don't know... if we ever get married or something," she says shyly, shuffling her feet. "You're thinking about us getting married already, Jadey-Wavey?" I ask her sweetly. "Is that a bad thing?" She asks me. "No, no, of course not. I think it's sweet. I will always love you, Jadey-Wavey," I say softly. "I love you too, babe," Jade says.
After we go to brunch, we open presents. Jade got me a sweet locket, complete with pictures of us together, and she also got me a few dresses of varying colors and styles. I got her a bracelet and a few notebooks to write down ideas and scripts for future projects, since she wants to be a director. I don't even give a thought to the conversation that we had earlier in the day about our future.

Hey guys. Sorry this chapter is so short, but I have a surprise for you in the next chapter. If you want a hint to what it is, look at the picture below, and see if you can figure it out. Also, Tori's new nickname for Jade ("Jadey-Wavey") is based in part on Dracula's nickname for his daughter Mavis in the Hotel Transylvania films ("Mavey-Wavey"). I know it sounds kinda strange, but I found it inventive when I thought of it. Anyway, bye for now!
