~~Evelyn Dayne~~

"Evelyn, wake up!"

My eyes snap open and the warm quilted daydreams are stolen by the cold winds of reality as I look around in confusion before I see Edric standing at the entrance of my tent.

"Edric? What's going on?"

"They're here!"

"Damn it!"

I quickly get up, throwing on my leather armor and gloves before strapping my swords to my waist and back.

I walk a fast pace through the busy camp as men move around frantically to get ready. They're even faster than they were for the last two days of preparing.

I peer out across the field and a couple hundred yards away is the whole Lannister army. I take in the fact that they have practically zero cavalry, just like us.

With our blockade of King's Landing, all that Tyrell food and gold is just sitting in wagons, waiting.

"Commander!"

I turn around, seeing a Dornish man run towards me, breathing hard.

"Word from the Lannisters!

"What is it?"

"It's the Kingslayer!"

My eyes widen slightly.

"He wishes to speak with the siege commander."

I turn and look at Edric, who is now joined by Yara and Elliara Sand. I raise a brow.

"Then let us meet the Kingslayer, shall we?"

~~~~~
A dozen men to match theirs. We ride with the banners of House Dayne, Martell, Greyjoy and a few other smaller Dornish Houses. I carry the banner of House Targaryen with my on my horse.
The man I never thought to see again approaches on a white horse alongside several others.
Jaime fucking Lannister.
Reaching about twenty yards distance apart, I stop and they stop. I climb down from my horse, drawing Dawn from it's scabbard on my back and I walk towards the middle ground, Jaime following suit.
I stop about ten feet from the Kingslayer and I twirl Dawn around before jamming it into the ground in front of me.
I don't take my eyes of the Lannister as he looks at me and then to Dawn.
"It appears that Lady Dayne has reclaimed her father's sword."
"It appears that Ser Jaime Lannister is missing a hand."
I remark, raising a brow as he frowns at that.
"It's been too long since we last met each other, Evelyn."
"Indeed. When I was off killing Lannisters, I heard you were let go by Lady Catelyn. That war would've turned out quite differently if she saw the bigger picture, wouldn't it have?"
