~~Evelyn Dayne~~
~~~~~
The wolf-dragon and the Dayne walk quickly through Winterfell as the night sky shines down on them, wrapping them up in a cold blanket that gives no comfort or warmth.
"What is this ritual you speak of?"
Jon, the dragon who thought he was a wolf, asks as Evelyn glances at Jon, still a little sunsure how to feel about him. But her feelings on the matter of Aemon Targaryen do not matter. The war to come is the only thing that matters.
"I don't even know. Something to do with blood magic, probably."
"Blood magic?"
Jon asks in concern and confusion as Evelyn just continues walking, not sparing Jon another glance.
"Mm."
"But blood magic is dangerous. It comes at a cost."
"Equal to that of the gain, I'm sure. Maybe that's why the Doom occurred in Valyria; the gain was equal to the loss, resulting in everything being burned away to ash."
The two round a corner, walking towards an open room as they see Melisandre and Daenerys already waiting inside. Dany looks at Evelyn with a soft, unknowing smile as the knowledge of who the man is across from her has yet to be revealed to her. But what Evelyn knows about Jon, she doesn't know about herself. Something that Daenerys knows.
But none of that even matters anymore. They could all be dead before the dawn.
"The Prince that was Promised would draw a sword from the fire, and that sword would be Lighrbringer."
Melisandre, the Red Woman, starts as Jon looks around in confusion.
"And which sword would that be?"
He asks and the Red Woman smiles, looking at Evelyn as she is already drawing Dawn from the scabbard on her back.
"Let's get it done with already. We have a war coming."
"As you wish. Roll up your sleeves."
The Red Woman commands as the two dragons and the Dayne look at her in confusion. Daenerys, wearing gauntlets, cannot roll up any sleeves as the others already have theirs on as well.
"Well, take off your gloves, then."
Evelyn is the first to do so, hoping that Dany and Jon would follow suit. They reluctantly do so, Jon yanking his glove back on when he sees Melisandre pull out a dagger.
