IMPERIUM'S POV

She's trying to fucking kill me. That's the only logical explanation because here I am watching her cute ass makes its way out of the room and it's taking all I have in me not to chase her down.

Claim her. Mine. My wolf growled pushing me to follow her, but Instead I stayed in my spot and was greeted to a slammed door.

Not yet. I can't. Nyx still Isn't aware that we are mates nor what that means.

"She seems nice, but Kai is right she's a little strange" a sweet voice said from the kitchen island. I looked over to see my cousin Cadre munching on a pack of strawberries.

"Just clean this mess up before you leave, okay kiddo" I mumbled to her as I made my way towards my room.

All I could think about was my cute mate and how not so innocent she looked as she licked the whip cream off her finger.

"I don't think my dear friend Thanatos would be pleased to know about what you're thinking about doing to his daughter. Mate or not Alpha Imperium." a cheery voice boomed inside my head.

"Get out of my head old man" I muttered knowing fully well that the only living person able to get past an Alpha mind link would be Mr.chambers.

Yeah I was pretty shocked as well when I found out the most powerful and only living wizard so happened to be a slightly heavy set, jolly and balding old man.

"oh don't be so rash I was only kidding Alpha Imperium. My lips are sealed. Anyways I'm only popping in to see how its going with Nyx. Have you been able to see any of her abilities yet" he said teasingly.

Not much luck, I grunted remembering how hot she looked when her eyes turn violet that one day when she had kissed me. I don't doubt that she must have acquired more special gifts from her father.

"Again I don't think Thantos would approve of your methods. Although in my own perspective as a teacher I do give you brownie points for your creativity in making what occured yesterday day seem as if it were a dream."

 The image of me and Nyx kissing near the forests and then me turning into a wolf became prominent in my head.

Although Mr.chambers is basically rummaging through my thoughts I didn't seem to care as a small smirk made it's way on my face.

Nyx may be unaware of the mating bond nor a werewolf but she still feels attracted to me. it's just a dam shame I can't bring up that Damn kiss with ought having to explain the whole wolf thing.

"Well I'm sure Nyx's dad is use to being displeased. I highly doubt that Thantos, being the Grim Reaper and all, would have a problem with unfortunate circumstances. I mean it's not like any of the soul's he takes want to be taken." I said in response.

"I'll be sure to pass on that message to Thantos. Anyways remember to continue your watch on Nyx. However due to that kiss I dont think that will be a problem. But remember she isn't safe" 

Mr chambers usually cheery voice come to a halt as he sternly stated, "The 6 shadow's know of her existences and even Thanatos is starting to worry."

"I know" I spat out. My hands were now set in tight fists as he mentioned The 6 shadow's. My wolf was pressing to be released; causing my whole body to shake. Just thinking about those sick bastards getting their filthy hands on Nyx. My Nyx. It made me disgusted and seeing red.

There was a time when  a group of humans died due to a very rare and terrible disease caused by wizard magic. Thantos felt bad for their untimely death and they were given life and humann form by Thantos  so they could aide him as a grim reaper.

But six of them craved power. They became demons, blood drinkers who gain strength through fear. They wished to live forever but they are shadows without Thantos. They have to drink the blood of powerful magical beings to stay alive and keep their human forms.

The 6 shadow's are sadistic creatures. Ruthless. And no matter who their prey was, they extracted their blood in the most immoral ways. 

Torture, rape and destruction was always left wherever they passed. They enjoyed terror and felt joy in fear. They already wiped out all but one of the wizards but even the blood from the magic which caused their original death as humans was not enough.

Nobody can hide nor escape death's grasp. Only by drinking death's blood will they themselves become hidden from death as they themselves will become a part of death. 

The only thing they fear is the Grim Reaper yet his blood is what is needed to stay alive and human forever. They can't go near Thanatos without dying as he is very powerful so they search for their only other option. They need Nyx. But they need to get through me first.

SORRY SUPER SHORT AND ITS BEEN A WHILE.

Also to clear things up Mr.Chamber's is the only living wizard at the moment and was recorded as the most powerful as well. He's also > 300 years old but looks like he's a heavy set 49 year old.

Thanatos is Nyx's dad and in my story he is also the grim reaper.

The 6 shadow's were once the shadows of dead people that the grim reaper collected which were given life to aide the grim reaper in taking people's souls. They however became corrupt and are sdistic. They also want Nyx to stay alive.

Imperium is Nyx's mate and knows about the 6 shadow's as he is an Alpha and you can assume the 6 shadow's also suck the blood of werewolves as well.
