The Silent Game

"Why Nyx" Imperium groaned as he paced the length of his office. 

"why do you always do this crap. First you don't stay in my office like your supposed to because Instead your running around the pack house and getting into fights. Like you own it." he scoffed. 

"defiling my office and not to mention, but YOUR BEST FRIEND is ROY Bane" Imperium shouted eyeing me as if I was missing a few brain cells.

"Nope I don't see the problem" I deadpan before deciding to spin around in circles on Imperium's extremely conformable and unexpectedly fun chair.

I was brought to a halt as Imperium put a tight hold onto the two armrest; stopping my fun.

"Seriously Imperium what is your problem. You don't own me your just my.... my room mate. I don't know why the heck I'm here. In fact I'm done with this bull. If you actually need me I'll be with Roy." I growled before shoving myself off the chair and rushing to leave.

I felt a stern grip wrap around my hand before I could feel Imperium's presence beside me.

"If you walk out now Nyx. Then were done" he whispered quietly but his anger was evident and I knew that he ment what he said. At first I thought I imagined that he even said something. But as we just stood there in silence, I realized I had to answer him back.

I sighed, but managed to say " we weren't anything to begin with" before walking out of his office and shutting the door behind me feeling suddenly very cold.

As I passed the threshold of I guess what was called the 'pack house'. I couldn't help but feel slightly light headed and ill. I felt as if I was trying so hard to find something but just realized I left it behind and possibly lost it forever. I guess I could say I felt a little empty for some reason.

Roy was driving me back to my dorm but as we were driving away I couldn't help but keep my eyes on the pack house. I kept watching it until it faded and soon enough it was out of sight.

" so what happened with you and Imperium. I mean I thought you were going to stay over or something" he grunted obviously noticing something tense happened.

My heart started to quicken at his name, but rather then be effected by it I instead pasted a big smile onto my face, "nah what kind of girl do you take me for. Sleeping at some random guys house without even having a first date"I attempted to joke but noticed the bitterness in my voice. 

Was I seriously pissed that Imperium hadn't tried to make a move on me. Ya obviously he went around. You know with that blonde in his bed the first time I met him and then there was that strawberry chick so why didn't he do anything with me. I'm no goodie goodie I seriously wouldn't have minded a little romp... wait the guy just said we were 'done' so why am I thinking this. That's it from now on Imperium isn't allowed into my thoughts I proclaimed.

"What's with the creepy grin Nyx" Roy chuckled eyeing me suspiciously. I shrugged in response before dozing off to sleep.

I woke up and honestly I felt like crap. I looked up at my reflection and I wasn't surprised to see two eyes with serious eye bags staring back at me. I guess it wasn't just a yesterday thing. I really was ill. I chugged 2 red bulls and a coffee before rushing to get to class. My favourite cereal, Krave, was out on the dinner table so fortunately I didn't have to struggle to get it from the top of the cabinets. I really needed to relocate where I kept the cereal.

"Late Nyx" Mr car stated while shaking his head in disapproval as I tried to sneak my way into the class room.

"Really I didn't notice" I giggled giddily. Obviously the energy drinks and coffee were starting to kick in. I looked up to see Imperium basically ignoring me as I passed by him.
