Yup that's the trick

"How did you.. Know" I said with suspicion before adding "And stop doing that to me" I demanded as I shoved his hand away from my face.

 At first he was silent just staring at me contently before a small smile. Yes a smile not a smirk made its way onto his face and he laughed, "Does my touch bother you Nyx."  

A voice in my head wanted to scream 'hell ya I got a problem with you touching me. It felt like my whole body was on fire with every touch. Oh and not to mention how my eyes turn purple and lips turn a deep wine colour. ' 

But rather than admit that I instead whispered, "I don't like when people touch me." and I sat back into the seat behind me. 

His smile started to fade as confusion took over, but I was glad he didn't press for details and rather sat back into his seat at the front desk. 

"You never answered me. How did you know" I said quietly as I still felt the weight of the words I told Imperium earlier settling into the air. 

I've never admitted that to anyone and so it made me wonder did he have some sort of ability to evoke thoughts from people and if not why did I feel so comfortable around him.

Of course now the smirk was back as he looked me right in the eye. Allowing me to see as his brown eyes shifted to black and the teeth shown through his smirk elongated.

 His canines forming into a slight point for a flash of a second before he said with humor in his voice "Your not the only supernatural creature out there babe."    

--The next morning--

"You're joking right!" I yelled as Imperium led me into the forest close to where me and his Dorm is located but far enough that we were well out of sight if any random person were to look out their window.

"What are you whining about now"

"This is bullshit Imperium it's 3am"

"People focus better in the morning due to the fact their brain has just been refreshed and replenished" he said matter of factually, but I could already tell he was one of those weird and messed up people who enjoyed mornings.

"you know I think I know what kind of supernatural monster you are" I said smartly.

"Of course you do Nyx. Then tell me what creature that goes bump in the night am I" he said with confidence that I didn't know.

"Your a vampire. No joke i'm not a vamp fan due to the fact I think werewolves are way cooler but hey I won't judge you for who you are."

" wow Nyx I'm surprised"

"I know right I'm such a good guesser" I said happily doing a little happy dance.

"No you were wrong" he deadpanned before continuing, "I was surprised at how bad at guessing you are. As if those  red eyed bloodsuckers got anything on me."

"you got an ego that sure as hell should have taken an eternity to grow" I muttered under my breath but the glare made me believe he must of heard what I said.

"Stop distracting me Nyx we came here so You can learned to control your powers." 

I'm dying. Well not really but if I was this is how it would feel like. Sweat was pouring from my body and my arms felt numb.

"You aren't trying Nyx. " Imperium yelled from across the field egging me on.

I mustered up all my strength to glare at him, "shut up. I thought you were supposed to help me tap into my magic not become a Frikin punching bag"
