Imperium was a wolf.

I don't know why but I was quick to shake Dylan and Roy's grip off me. I thought I was ganna run like a bat out of hell away from the crazy wolf/Imperium but surprisingly my body was somehow running straight towards him.

I watched as he made his move to lunge at Lord Tompkins throat but as he was poised in mid air for a kill I jumped infront of him.

"Stop Imperium" I yelled unsure if I wanted to pee myself from how scary he looked right now or demand a ride on his back because HE'S A FRIKIN WEREWOLF!

He gracefully landed right infront of me and his large eyes never left mine.

He just stared at me intensly as if he was seeing me for the first time. His eyes softened as his wolfy body scanned me up and down with a look of approval.

I was about to choke him out for looking at me like I was a piece of meat when, in the corner of my eyes, I saw Tompkins tryng to move in a subtle manner behind me.

It only took the sound of leaves under Tompkins feet to wash away any look of softness from the overgrown wolf standing in front of me. A low growl resonated in his chest and Imperiums wolf head jerked to the right motioning for me to move aside.

I looked behind me at Tompkins who seemed pale: paler then the usual vampire skin tone. He looked translucent and his eyes kept shifting from me to a snarling imperium. I guess somebody was regretting their big mouth.

I knew that if I stepped aside Imperium would most likely kill Lord Tompkins. But then again whose to say if I didnt move he wouldn't end up killing me instead.
I finally made a conclusion as I moved over so I was almost touching his soft fur.

"Who the hell are you to tell me to move. So what your just going to shift into a Wolf on steroids and now your just ganna leave me in the middle of the forest to go beat up some cocky bloodsucker when your the jerk face who woke me up and dragged me out here to train AT FRIKING 2am " I yelled with my hands on my hips. I was also seriously hoping he wouldn't shred me to pieces. I mean come on we made out today I hoped that counted for something.

Imperium's wolf seemed to soften as he whined licking his paw and brought it upwards to wipe his face. He slowly approached me before yanking on my loose shirt making me almost fall flat on my face. I swear I saw his wolf face smile before he bent his knees and motioned with his head for me to get on his back.

At first I was hesitant but he started to get irritated with my hesitance and he started nudging me even more roughly with his head.

I rolled my eyes at his impatience before I got on his back. I was surprised at how comfortable I felt as my fingers ran through his soft black fur.

He started moving slowly towards the thicker side of the forest and we passed by Roy and Dylan. I laughed and gave them a small wave as I look at their faces of confusion and irration. No doubt I was going to be lectures by Dylan later on about not listening to them.

As we reached the cover of the trees
I almost fell off Imperium as he suddenly started to run. Jerk.

Anyways I was glad to have already anticipated this as my death grip on his fur stopped me from flying off him and landing face first into some bush that with my luck would have probably been poisonous and infested with fire ants.

I glared at Imperium as that possibility materialized in my head.

We suddenly stopped as Imperium dug his claws into the dirt below, halting us. It took me a while to figure out why as the rising sun blinded my vision and I'll admit. Despite my excitement about getting to ride a werewolf, in truth, actually doing it is pretty terrifying and makes my head spin a little.
