3rd Person POV

Chou Tzuyu was heading home after a long day at school. She was studying to become a veterinarian. It has been her aspiration since childhood because she loved animals and wanted to help them. On top of all of that, she also volunteers at the local animal shelter and food bank. She loved the feeling of helping animals who were in need of love and people who needed a helping hand. It was her life's calling and made her feel amazing when animals express their joy or when people smile while expressing their gratitude for the work she does.

Even though Tzuyu was super busy with her daily schedule, she always made time to be with her girlfriend, Park Jihyo. The two of them have been dating since Jihyo and Tzuyu were 18 and 16, respectively. Prior to that, they were very close childhood friends and were basically inseparable. Now that they are 24 and 21 years old, respectively, they feel lonely whenever they are away from each other for too long.

Tzuyu opened the front door to the apartment that she shares with Jihyo. She was surprised when she saw an extra pair of shoes. She shrugged her shoulders and thought nothing of it as she knew that they were planning to have a friend over for dinner tomorrow. It was a common occurrence for Jihyo to move plans one day ahead as she would drink and forget what day it was. Tzuyu complained about Jihyo's drinking, but the older woman would claim that it was her stress relief. Tzuyu was not too happy with that reason but was willing to put up with it so long as Jihyo did not cause any problems, which she has not thus far.

Tzuyu placed her bag in the living room before heading straight to the kitchen. Between her and Jihyo, Tzuyu was the better cook. To Jihyo's credit, she has tried to improve her cooking skills but to no avail. Tzuyu did not mind doing the cooking as she would rather have something edible after a long day over something inedible. It also made her happy when Jihyo smiled and told her that her food tasted amazing. Although, she was willing to suffer through Jihyo's cooking on her most exhausting days.

Tzuyu finished making the meal, which included bread, and brought it over to the dining table. She set the table before going to look for Jihyo and their friend. She was a little surprised that neither of them heard her coming in through the front door but paid it no mind as the both of them were known for being rowdy at times, drowning out their surroundings.

Tzuyu headed to her bedroom and opened the door. Tears instantly started falling from her eyes because of what she found: Jihyo making love with another woman who was not even their friend on top of their bed. The stranger moaned in pleasure, groaning a name that did not even sound like Jihyo's name.

"J-J-Ji-Ji?" Tzuyu asked shakingly.

Jihyo sat up and squinted her eyes towards the door before it went wide in shock when she realized that Tzuyu was standing at the door. She quickly looked down at the woman underneath her and looked back up to confirm that her eyes were not betraying her at that very moment. She let out a scream before quickly jumping away from the woman.

Jihyo turned around to find that Tzuyu had already left. She quickly got dressed while yelling at the woman to get out. She then rushed into the living room to find her girlfriend sitting on the couch with her head down.

Jihyo sat down beside Tzuyu, and it was then that she noticed that Tzuyu was shivering. There were no combinations of words that Jihyo could use to describe how she felt at that moment. Shame? Disgust? Confusion? She was not sure.
