3rd Person POV
Many things have happened and changed since Jihyo saved Tzuyu from making the biggest mistake in Tzuyu's life, Sana and Tzuyu were able to reconcile, and Sana finally revealed what was causing her to behave in a toxic manner towards Tzuyu. One of the biggest changes is that Tzuyu found herself cementing Sana as a voice of reason in her life. Not to say that she did not before, but The Voice disappearing from Tzuyu's conscience left a hole that Tzuyu feared would be replaced by her Dark Inner Emotions if it was not filled up quickly. Sana was of course happy to take on this role in a more official capacity.
The second major change came with Sana being accountable for her toxic form of communication or lack thereof. Sana promised to Tzuyu that she would take time out of her day to tell Tzuyu everything she felt that day. She never again wanted to make Tzuyu feel negative emotions just because of her unwillingness to communicate. Tzuyu was of course happy with this and said she would do the same as she too wanted them to never have fights due to a lack of communication.
The third major change was that Tzuyu got rid of all the alcohol in her apartment. Some of them were hard to throw away as they went as far back as when Jihyo and Tzuyu broke up, but Tzuyu knew that it was for the better to remove any item that was linked to her alcoholism. Sana knew that it was better to not go cold turkey and suggested keeping a small bottle. Tzuyu did not spare a single bottle and told Sana that she would rather suffer the effects of going cold turkey with Sana than having that single bottle and losing Sana. Sana was swooned by Tzuyu's devotion and pledged to be by Tzuyu's side no matter what.
The last major event was that Tzuyu signed up for rehab. Tzuyu went to the closest centre the day after everything happened to register for a program. She was assigned to an on-going group that met every weekday for at least an hour. She was nervous to attend her first session, so Sana decided to come along for emotional support. The facilitator did not let Sana be in the same room as the attendees but allowed her to observe from an adjacent room through a one way window. It was tough for Tzuyu to go through with the session, but she took solace in knowing that Sana was supporting her from the neighbouring room.
Speaking of which, Tzuyu was currently attending her fourth rehab session. She had gotten used to participating in the discussion and activities but found herself being a bit of a loner within the group. While everyone else was talking amongst themselves during the midpoint break, she would stare at the one way window and count the time before she was reunited with her Sana.
"Sana is really all you can think about, huh?" the group facilitator said as she sat down beside Tzuyu.
Tzuyu jumped as she turned to look at the facilitator, "Oh, Shuhua-unn—"
"Stop," Ye Shuhua, the facilitator, said as she raised her hand to interrupt Tzuyu, "I told you to just call me 'Shuhua'. No one is allowed to use honorifics within this group. We are all equals in the journey to being sober and clean."
"Right, sorry. I am not used to it yet. Anyways, of course Sa-Sa is all I can think about. She is the reason I am here and refuse to back out no matter how difficult it has been for me to face myself. Plus, all that separates me from jumping into her arms right now is that window," Tzuyu said as she turned back towards the one way window.
"Listen, Tzuyu. I know you have only been here for less than a week and are struggling to integrate with the others, but everyone here has a reason for being here just like you do. Ultimately, they are here for the sake of someone special in their life. It is the precise reason that you were put into my group in the first place," Shuhua said.
Tzuyu gave Shuhua a confused look, "I was specifically put into your group?"
Shuhua nodded as she smiled at Tzuyu, "My group focuses specifically on these types of cases. I recommend you try talking to the others. You will find out that you may have something in common and can learn from their experiences."
