Chapter 14 = Jail

I opened the door and my eyes widened and my mouth dropped open. It was the police. What were they doing here. " Is a person names Taylor here?" One cop said. I couldn't speak. Then Nash said " yeah but why? What happened?" Then the cop spotted Taylor and the other cop said " Put your hands behind your back. Taylor did what he said. Then the cop put hand cuffs on him. The other cop said " Taylor is arrested for stealing go-carts." Then I said " Can someone bail him out?" Then the cop said " No he has to go to jail for 6 months." We all had scared and sad looks on our face.

After the cops left I remembered I asked my mom if I can stay in California and just go to college here so I can see Taylor. Me and Nathaniel are going to college here.

It was late and we were all still processing what happened. We decided to go to sleep early. Everyone went to here room, me and Nathaniel decided to stay up. We layed down on the bed. " What if someone else gets arrested?" I asked. "Then we will try to bail them out." " What if the cop lied what if we can bail Taylor out." " Your right Kayla we should check." We got up and went to the other rooms to wake everyone up. We all went to the police station.

When we got there we saw Taylor and he looked scared out of his mind. "There are no visitors right now allowed here." One cop said. " We have a question to ask you. Why can't you bail Taylor out of jail?" I asked. " You can who told you that is couldn't?" A different cop said. " Steve." I said. I remembered the name tag. " If you bail him out you have to pay $2,500 dollars." Said the cop. " Ok." Said Matt. I don't have that kind of money. Then Matt pulled out his wallet and pulled out the money and handed it to the cop. I am amazed who has this kind of money in there pockets. We signed a lot of papers and then we were able to take Taylor back.

When we got to the hotel everyone looked like they were going to pass out. But before everyone fell asleep I said " Ok so for now on no one will get arrested. Deal?" " Deal." Everyone said. Then everyone went there separate ways.

When we got to our room i plopped on the bed. I was exhausted. Nathaniel layed next to me and put his arms around me and I put my arms around him. Then I was begin into drift off. Then I fell into a peaceful sleep about carnivals.
