Chapter 29 = Trip

KAYLA'S POV

I woke up and Nathaniel was not next to me. I got up to look at the time. It is 11:55. That was a nice sleep but where is Nathaniel. I walked to the kitchen. There was a note on the fridge. It said:

Hey I went to go get you something but it is a surprise. It is not something like boyfriend and girlfriend it is more like from when we were little. I will be back at around 12:30. There is some food for you in the fridge.

Wow ok so I opened the fridge and in there was bacon, eggs, and two pancakes. I put it in the microwave and sat at the table. I turned on the tv and went to Netflix. I put on the Fosters and started eating my food.

After I was done eating I went to go get dress. Today I want to be a lazy day. I put on some sweats and a shirt that says: there is no way you woke up like that. Also my hat, changed my phone case, put on some vans and instead of putting on my contacts I left my glasses on.

12:30 pm

The door opened and Nathaniel came in. He was holding something behind his back. He sat across from me with a huge grin on his face. He took what ever he had behind his back and gave it to me. It was a thin piece of paper with lettering on it. I looked at it. O.M.G. It is tickets to New York. Where I lived when I was little. Where I developed my crush for Nathaniel and where I started fangirling on Shawn Mendes.

We leave in 2 days. " Thank you Nathaniel." " No problem I have another ticket so you and me can go together. I want to go visit my sister and see how she is doing." "K" Nathaniel has a sister named Victoria. The last time I saw her see was 4 so right now she might be like 7 or 8. But she is really cute when she was little so I want to see what happened to her. Also I want to go visit some of my friends that I left behind. But the one person I really want to see is Matt.

FLASHBACK

When I finished 5th grade it was summer and there was a carnival in the middle of the town I lived in. Me and Tiana went to the carnival together. There was this ride called the remix. I hated roller coasters or anything high or goes fast. So I went on the ride with Tiana because she forced me to. Then this really cute boy my age came over and sat in the seat in front of me. I was telling Tiana that we are going to die and that I never told my mom I loved her. Then he turned around and gave me a big smile. " It is not that scare once you got a little used to it." He assured me. I gave him a big smile. He then put his hand on mine and my friend hand that look like ' I know you like him.' I forgot that we were on a ride so when it started to freaked out. He smiled at me and held my hand again and I calmed down. When the ride was over I got out and went to the grass and when I turned around he was gone.

Then I went into 6th grade. I looked everywhere for him but I never found him. Then toward the end of 6th grade I saw this guy and he looked just like the guy I met. So I told my friend and benign the " Amazing " friend she is, she asked him some questions. And he said he went to a carnival and met a girl. I was so happy I found him.

FLASHBACK OVER

I left my thoughts of him kinda like I now where he lives in New York so I am definitely going visit him. Then I realized that Nathaniel was telling something. " Kayla hello earth to Kayla." "Oh sorry Nathaniel." " What were you thinking about?" " Umm... Nothing." " Kayla I know you were thinking of something but what." "Nothing Nathaniel I don't want to talk about it." I got up and went to the bedroom. But before I got there someone knocked on the door. I went to go get and who do I see... SHAWN!

Sorry I hadn't updated I had writers block but I know how I am going to end this book but I am going to make another book to the series. There are going to be 3 books. I really hope you like this book and this chapter. Luv you guys♥️!!!
