(Rafe) Anniversary

You felt soft lips on your cheek. You smiled and fluttered your eyes open, turning around in your bed to face Rafe.

"Happy anniversary Y/N" he whispered tucking your hair behind your ear.

"Happy anniversary baby" you smiled.

"So like um-" he started but interrupting him, reversing yourself into him so he could cuddle you.

"You read my mind" he said calmly kissing the top of you head.

You turned to him slightly pressing your head into his chest and rubbing is shirtless, abs, his arm around your back. Rafe was known to stir the pot sometimes and start fights but no matter how he was feeling you always felt safe in his arms. If he saw you upset or worried he would drop everything and rush to your side. You were always there for eachother and your love was real.

The day he got down on one knee was the happiest day of your life and it couldn't have been more perfect. On the balcony, under the moonlight with only a few candles and flowers.

Your happy memories were stopped by the man that made them all possible,

"Hun do you want to have breakfast then we go for a stroll on the beach?"

You nodded. You watched as your husband headed out the door to go downstairs and make you breakfast.

You put on the outfit that you had rolled out the day before.

You brushed your hair, cleaned your teeth and headed downstairs just as Rafe was putting breakfast on the table.

"You look absolutely beautiful Y/N" he started at you a cheeky smile spread across his face. You walked up and grabbed the back of his neck giving him a thank you kiss.

"I have a little surprise so I'll get it ready and you can run upstairs get some clothes, the we can eat this amazing food eat and go out" you smiled, he did as he was told and ran upstairs, almost tripping and falling, you could help but giggle. He saw you giggling and rolled his eyes in a cute way.

You went into your second fridge and bought out a picnic basket you had got ready the night before. You shut the fridge door and placed the basket on the counter.

You sat down and began to eat breakfast.

"So your taking me out on the beach" he shouted from the top of the stairs, he had obviously seen the picnic basket.

You glanced up at him and suddenly he was sitting at the table with you.

He looked so sexy. His hair wasn't slicked back (thank god), he was wearing a button up white shirt with a collar, and jorts. He had tried to match you and it was honestly so cute.

You finished your breakfast, and hopped into the car, putting the picnic basket on the back seat.

Rafe jumped in and he placed his big hand on your thigh, rubbing it with his thumb before even putting the keys in the ignition. You smiled at him as he started to drive.

You guys only lived about 20minutes away from the beach. So it didn't take long to get their.

You jumped out of the car, the soft sand hit your feet. You opened the back to retrieve the basket, to find Rafe had already grabbed it.

"Let me do something nice Rafe, baby"  you pouted grabbing his other hand.

"I don't want to tire you out" you both chuckled, burying your head into his shoulder as you guys walked along the beach searching for a spot to sit.

You enjoyed walking with him, but the moment was ruined. You weren't looking where you and tripped over a tree root.

"Shit!" You yelled out of pain, twisting your ankle.

"Shit babe" he dropped the basket and picked you up bridal style carrying you back to the car.

"Baby I'm sorry" you frowned.

He smiled and kissed you letting you know it was okay.

It reminded you of your wedding day how he picked you up and walked down the aisle.
