OBX One Shots

The ring (JJ)

"Shit look at the time I've gotta go to work" JJ said looking at his bare wrist.

"Hun you're not wearing a watch but yeah you should go" you ran your hand up his big arm, worried you had done something wrong.

"I'll see you tonight" he grabbed your face and leant in, kissing your forehead.

You smiled and watched him walk off the beach, youR smile quickly turned to frown. It was a Thursday, he didn't work on Thursdays. Maybe you were being annoying, you were good at that.

You walked back to chateau from the beach and began to watch the sunset, you sipped on the tea you had made, enjoying the time, then you heard the door hit the wall.

"Y/N I've got a surprise put on a nice dress" John B panted clearly out of breath.

You were sceptical at first but you hurried and put on one of your best looking dresses. It was a beautiful white, that showed off your body, it made you feel confident. You brushed down your dress, looking in the mirror than hurried back to John B.

You gave him a twirl and smiled,

"You look really pretty" he nodded taking your hand as if you were royalty. He lead you into the car and sat you down.

He walked around the front playing with his hands, nervously, he opened the door and jumped in the driver's seat.

"Here put this on" he handed you a red piece of cloth to wrap around your eyes.

It didn't take long to get to the destination, you assumed you were at John B's chateau.

"Take the blind fold off" John B whispered in your ear.

You untied it slowly and saw Kie and Pope holding candles and a trail of candles leading the boat where JJ was standing, you looked around. The sky was dark and covered in clouds and everyone was in their best dressed, including JJ he was in a white button up shirt and black pants.

You didn't know what was going on but you decided to follow the candles on the peer to JJ, he smiled as you walked down. He held out his hand for you and you crept into the boat.

"What's this J?" You asked holding his hands in yours.

"You'll see" he said clearing his throat.

"Y/N I love you" he smiled, you began to realise what was going on.

"You make me so happy and you love me for me and we are so perfect for each other I didn't think I would ever find anyone as caring, pretty or stupid as you" you let out a small laugh, tears starting to form in your eyes he squeezed your hands.

You felt droplets of rain touch your skin, the night was so magical, "Y/L/N...

He started, getting down on one knee and holding a ring to you, the rain getting heavier.

"Will marry me?" He brushed his wet blonde hair away from his face.

You nodded, "Yes, of course, duh!" You began to cry happy tears as JJ shoved the ring on your finger.

He held your waist and kissed you tightly not letting go, the rain kind of made everything better in the moment, it was perfect.

JJ pulled away, "She said yes!" Screaming at the others and pointing his fingers in the air.

You giggled at him, excited to spend the rest of your laugh with this quirky little blonde boy.
