(Girl x Girl, !TW! Will contain homophobia)

You clenched your girlfriends Kiara's hand, while you walked into the shopping centre.

You took a deep breath, "Ready to face the world Kie?"

She smiled at you and kissed your cheek, "I think I'm ready" she squeezed  your hand slightly.

You guys loved the outer banks shopping mall, it was your favourite place to go, when you wanted the boys to leave you alone. You could spend hours looking a random things without someone getting annoyed at you. This time was slightly different, you and Kie had never been out together as a couple.

Well an openly gay couple as Kiara always worried people would say hurtful things but she finally worked up the courage to go out.

You loved confident Kiara, she was so hot, even while she was trying to decide on food for lunch.

"Sushi or subs?" She tapped her chin.

"Well in craving sushi, so do you want to get that?" You replied standing between the stalls while Kie made her mind.

She smiled turning to you, "I guess I could go for some sushi"

You two got four to share, two tuna and two avocado,

"That will be $7.52" the shop keeper smiled at us, she seemed lovely.

Kiara swiped her card and we went to sit down in the food court.

You found an empty and lounge chair and sat down placing the sushi on the table in front of you. You placed your head on Kiara shoulder and held her hand, she let out a slight giggle feeding you a piece of sushi. You were enjoying this moment until you felt a hand tap you shoulder.

You whipped your head around to see a white, middle aged woman with a horrible sense of style.

"Can I help you ma'am?" quietly asking, Kiara turned her head not noticing the woman before.

"You shouldn't be resting your head on her like that people might... think... things" she shook her head with a slight smile.

Kiara gave her an angry smirk taking over the situation, "Think what?"

Her face quickly changed to a frown, "You know that way?" She whispered bending down slightly.

"What way?" You asked.

She placed a hand to the side of her face, "G-gay" she moved her hand away slowly.

"We are gay, is that a problem" Kiara shook her head in disbelief. They old lady jumped back as if she had seen a ghost.

"Nope nope, that's wrong you two will marry handsome Christan men" she shook her hands at us.

"No we won't" Kiara smiled getting down on one knee to face you, she gave you a wink. You knew exactly what she was doing.

"Y/N Y/L/N I didn't want to do this now but I think it's the right time, I love you so much and will forever, will you marry me?" She held both of your hands, you stood up in response acting shook.

"Oh my god yes!" You chuckled, over exaggerating it a little bit.

"No this is wrong, you girls are wrong!" She tapped her foot angrily and ran away.

You and Kiara burst out laughing as you watched her jog behind the corner.

"Dumb old bitch" you laughed.

"Y/N I promise I won't propose to you in an old mall" she rubbed the back of your hands.

"Oh that wasn't... real?" You asked sarcastically.

She kissed your lips softly, pulling away to speak.

"Let's get of here babe" she took one of your hands in hers.

You kissed her passionate and went to leave, getting stopped at the door by two officers and that cranky old lady.

"Here are the girls that verbally abused me!" She shouted stomping her feet historically.

"Is this true girls?" One of them asked looking at starring at us.

"No she approached us because we were being openly gay" you corrected them.

They sighed in disappointment,

"Yeah you girls can go" they let you through and you kissed Kiara outside.

"I love you Kiara"

"I love you more" she smiled, kissing you again.
