Chapter 8
“STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER!” A guy screamed from the other side of Destiny. Shit.. I sat next to Baily and the next thing I know she sits next to me too. I watched as a guy that had muscles everywhere walked over to me. Pushing through people. I needed to work out.. I thought. Destiny stood up and ran to him.
“Perry stop. Stop. We’re over.” Destiny said. Perry glared at me.
“FOR HIM!” He yelled pointing at me. I rolled my eyes. I looked over at Baily. Her desk was combined with mine. It was in twos for the desks. I looked back at the guy and destiny. He sighed and he walked past her and towards me. I sighed. Here we go.. he stopped at my desk.
“You think its good take other guys ladies huh? chicken shit?” I rolled my eyes.
“I’m with this girl so it isn’t worth taking yours.” The guy glared at me.
“You just got here it doesn’t happen just like that for emo mother fuckers like you.” I rolled my eyes. I wrapped my arm around Baily and brought her close. She looked at me and smiled and then saw the guy.
“Perry?” The guy nodded.
“That’s bull shit.” Perry said. I smirked.
“Nice to meet you too.” I said smirking as he walked away. Destiny groaned and walked over to me.
“I’m so like sorry.. He just doesn’t get that it’s over.” She said pushing her hair aside. I smiled.
“No big.” I felt Baily move. I looked down at her she bit her lip. I sighed.
“But I have a girlfriend. So it’s ok..” I said. I looked down at Baily she smirked. Destiny groaned.
“People talk and people have eyes Kyle. Everyone thinks and knows your just using her to have us “back off”. You know you like us.” Destiny said and flipped her hair once again. Baily got out of her seat.
“You little...” She stopped herself and took in a big breath. I got up and pulled her into me tightly.
“I’m sorry Destiny.. I’m just not one of those guys that think your hott. You don’t turn me on. If you just want to be friends that’s great but it would never be anything more.” I said smugly. Destiny scoffed.
“You can’t like her. Have you looked at her? Or are you just blind?” Baily went to open her mouth when I covered it with my mouth.
“Ya i’m blinded by her being so pretty if that’s what you mean. She’s prettier then you. You should be jealous.” I said smugly. Destiny glared at me.
“I honestly don’t believe it. I think your just playing hard to get.” I groaned.
“What do I have to do?” I asked. Destiny smirked and put her hand on her hip.
“Kiss. Kiss and I’ll believe it.” I shrugged.
“Won’t bother me none.” I said and leaned in to kiss Baily. Baily hesitated as everyone turned to look at us.
“What?” I asked. Baily looked down.
“Nothing.” She said and smiled reassuringly. She wrapped her arms around my neck. I smirked and kissed her lips. Baily quickly pulled away. I cocked an eyebrow but put on a straight face as I turned to see Destiny. Her mouth wide open.
“You can leave now.” I said to her smirking. She scoffed and turned and sat down. I looked down at Baily. She frowned.
“What’s wrong?” She looked down sadly.
“Is it true?” She asked looking up at me.
“What true?” I asked confused.
“Would you use me to have her get off your back? That was the reason you wrapped your arm around me before..” I sighed.
“Baily, We’re linked okay. I like you a lot. Can’t you believe me instead of her?” I asked. Baily rolled her eyes.
“We’re linked? Through Janet right. And I’m not believing her. She was just right. People do talk.” The bell rang ending study hall. Baily grabbed her books and walked out of the room. I groaned and grabbed my books and walked out of the room. I saw Baily stop at her locker. I stopped and leaned against the locker next to hers. Baily was hiding behind the door of her locker. I heard her snivel. I turned her to me. Her eyeliner dripping down her cheeks. I looked at her sympathetically.
“Baily... Please.” She turned back to her locker and wiped underneath her eyes and her cheeks.
“Just leave me alone Kyle... I don’t want to get hurt. And the link between us so you say it’s not good enough. I don’t want Janet being the only reason your dating me.” She said and shut her locker.
“That isn’t the only reason I’m dating you Baily and you know that.” I said holding her arms. She shook her head.
“Just leave me alone. I need to get away.” She said.
“From what?” I asked.
“From you.” She said pushing me away. I cursed under my breath.
“Fine.” I said and turned and started walking. I heard light footsteps coming after me.
“Where are you going?” I heard Baily ask.
“Why do you care? You need to get away and that’s fine. Now bug off.” I said. Baily stopped where she was and watched me leave. I pushed out of the doors of the school. I jumped into the car. I started on for the beach.
/////////////////Baily’s POV////////////////////////////////////
I stood watching him walk away. He spat my words in my face. I watched as he kept walking and pushed the door to the school open. I put my hands through my hair feeling the tears going down my cheeks. What am I going to do? I heard Destiny laughing behind me. I turned to her. I felt my cheeks warm up.
“What the hell is so funny?” I spat. She giggled.
“My plan works. See I know you so well.” She said smugly and twirly her blonde hair around her finger. I launched myself at her. I could not take this any longer. I tackled her to the floor. She looked at me shocked.
“What do you think your doing?” She asked. I rolled my eyes.
“Your ass is mine sweety.” I whispered in her ear. She looked at me, horrified. I smirked and slapped her across the face. I had my legs around her waist. She wouldn’t fight back. Good. I thought. I slapped and punched getting everything out. She started to cry. I heard teachers coming out of their rooms. They pulled me off of her. I struggled under Proffeser Mcain’s grip.
“Baily. Calm down.” I groaned.
“Its all her fault.” I said the tears coming down my cheeks.
“You may leave now. I’ll be calling your father Baily.” I heard our principle say.
“That’s going to solve a lot.” I said angrily and pushed Mcain away.
“Let me go. You don’t notice how bad she is cuz of her pretty little act. She is the worst person you could ever meet and you guys never notice cuz she makes all A’s.” I spat and walked out of the School. I walked towards the beach. Hearing the waves. The wind whipped through my hair. Would he do that to me? Is Janet the only reason he wanted to date me? I didn’t want to get hurt but I might just be hurting myself.........
