Chapter 19

Kyle’s POV----

Me and Baily walked up the front lawn of the school. She kissed me then went to her locker. I walked down the hall way. I pushed through the people. Destiny glanced at me. She glared then kept talking to the people around her. I chuckled. I opened my locker grabbing my books. I then walked to my first period class. I sat next to Baily in the back.

The bell rang ending gym. I sighed in relief. I was starving. I ran to the locker room. I went to the showers. I felt a little weird. The showers didn’t have curtains. I felt a little exposed. I showered quickly. I grabbed a towel from the shelves next to the showering area. I wrapped it around my waist and walked through to my locker where my clothes were. This school had money you could tell. In the guy’s locker rooms there was the showering area and then the clothing area where your lockers are. I opened my locker.

“So your dating Baily?” A guy asked. I then saw a guy pulling on a shirt beside me. He had semi short red hair. He pulled on a baggy sweatshirt. He was 6’0 same as me. His hair swayed in front of his violet blue eyes. He was pale and thin. I nodded.

“Yeah why?” I asked. He shook his head. He grabbed a skateboard and pulled it out of his locker.

“Chill man..She’s a friend of mine..I’m chubs.” He said offering me a hand. I shook it.

“Kyle...Chubs?” I asked looking at him. He laughed.

“I have dimples so they called me chubs for chubby cheeks..Weird I know.” He said laughing. I nodded. I looked at his board. It was blue with red flames and a skull in the middle.

“Nice board.” I said. He looked down at it and nodded.

“You board?” He asked. I nodded.

“I did since I was 10..had to stop when I turned 13 because my step bitch wouldn’t let me..” He nodded.

“Well you should chill with me at lunch the school has a skate board area kind of thing. You could show me what you got.” He said punching my shoulder smiling. I nodded.

“Sure..Haven’t did it in a while though.” Chubs pulled on a flat hat and walked ahead of me. I followed him to the cafeteria and through some doors. I then saw what he was talking about. I looked at the mini ramps,half pipes,quarter pipes and flat rails. This school made an area for skate boarding. Had to thank the principle for that. I watched guys grinding there boards and doing other tricks.

“Yeah..This school is pretty cool. They said if we kept our grades up they would make one. Then after they would keep it no matter what..Fair deal for us.” Chubs said. I nodded.

“It’s kick ass.” I then saw a girl going down the half pipes. She had her hair in a bun and a skater hat on. She flipped the board under her feet and landed. She had aviaters on so her face was hidden. I then saw the smile she showed when she saw me. I tilted my head.

“yeah..I got her into boarding when we were together.” Chubs said. I looked at him. He chuckled.

“We’re best friends now dude don’t worry.” I nodded. Baily skidded to a stop in front of me. She kissed me.

“Hey.” She said simply. I stared at her.

“How come I didn’t know you could board?” I asked. She shrugged.

“It never came up and I just felt like boarding today they finally got the half pipes done.” She said. I nodded. I nodded. She handed me the board.

“Try?” She asked. I shook my head.

“No..”I said. She laughed.

“Dude.. You said you did it when you were younger..” Chubs said looking at me. I nodded.

“Yeah but it’s been years. I’ll watch you guys.” I said. Baily shrugged. Chubs put his board down and started off to the half pipes. I sat down on the pavement. Baily sat beside me holding a board.

“nice look.” I said. She laughed taking off the glasses and clipping them to the center of her shirt. She pulled her hair out. It fell to her shoulders.

“Yeah only when I’m boarding haha..” She laughed. I nodded.

“Like the board and hat.” I said. She blushed and nodded.

“Yeah there Chubs’..I keep my board in my locker along with the hat...” She said. I nodded. People started cheering. I looked to see Chubs doing all kinds of tricks. I looked at Baily as she screamed. I looked back at Chubs he looked at her and winked. I cocked an eyebrow. He still likes her. I looked back at Baily. She sighed. I didn’t know about her. I put my finger tips under her chin and pulled her to me. She laughed.

“Miss me?” She asked as I kissed her lips. I nodded and kissed her again. Our lips moved against eachother. I then heard a bunch a ‘Ohhhhhs and Ouch’s‘  I opened my eyes as I kissed Baily and looked over. Chubs had fallen off his board. I smirked. He tries anything and I’m gonna..I put the thoughts aside. I mean nothing could get any worse then what I’ve seen along with what Sam’s seen right?
