--Sam's POV--

I laughed as Annie went on down the counter. The diner being closed for hours by now. A pie on her head and all of us laughing and some crying as we watched. Annie walked down the counter. The pie tipping once or twice then met the end. She jumped off. The pie falling to the ground.

"Now that honey is skill." She said to Danny. I held back my laughs. Danny's cheeks, now a bright red. Looked down. For the last 4 hours we had been laughing and joking and catching up. I had heard so many things about my mother that my brother hadn't even spoke of. I felt comfterable here. Danny had been looking at me through sideways glances every few seconds or so. Everytime he looked. I looked back into his beautiful eyes. I was able to be all Sam here. Now holding back of what I wanted to say. Never being scared someone will be upset with what I have to say at all. It was like a whole different world here...And I loved it. I yawned slightly. Clara smirked.

"Come on Ginger..Your staying over with me tonight." She said. I looked around. There wasn't any girl here that I didn't know there names by now. Who was she talking to? I then was answered when she kept her eyes on me. I 'oh'd' and jumped off the stool. She chuckled.

"You should have been a blonde." She mumbled. I giggled and followed her and Danny. We walked out of the diner. Only 4 cars left in front of the diner. Clara led us to the sidewalk. We walked down the street. The cold air blowing against my face. The moon looking down and being our light. I shivered. Clara looked at Danny. He sighed.

"You want my sweatshirt?" He asked. I nodded. He handed me his blue sweatshirt. I pulled it on. I smiled at it's warmth. He chuckled.

"I'm glad you like MY Sweatshirt." he said emphasizing on the my. I giggled and nodded. Clara turned into a driveway. I looked up at the blue house. It's paint was a neon blue not the regular blue you see on everyday two story houses. I looked at the black mustang in front. The license plate reading:

U-WshBby

I rolled my eyes. Clara saw my expression.

"He has a car and I don't.....You have to truly love your kid to do that." She said. I laughed and nodded. Danny pushed his hair to the side. He glided his fingers across the side of the car. He shivered. Clara met a door that had a welcome mat that made me laugh.

Welcome to OddTown

Is what it read. Clara pulled out a chain of keys. She pulled out a camoflauge one and put it in the door. It turned and you heard a click. Clara pushed through the door. We all walked in. One after the other. The door led into a kitchen. I smiled a little. It had Lucille Ball photos along with appliances. The cubourds a dark cherry red and the walls a light yellow. The tiling of the floor was black and triangular like. I smiled. The counters a light granite with an island in the middle. The appiliances were all old except the fridge and the oven. Everything else was old time appliances. Clara blushed.

"I like Lucille Ball....Always have..Ever since I was a little girl." She said. I nodded.

"Thats fine." I said smiling. She looked at Danny.

"Danny, take Sam up to her room please." She said. I tilted my head. Clara chuckled.

"You use to stay over at my house for weeks on end. After a while we made you up your own room." She said smiling. I nodded.

"You kept it this long.." I said. She nodded.

"I knew you'd be back." She said. Danny tugged on my arm. I followed. We went down a hallway. Passing a room that had wooden flooring and white walls. I stopped and looked inside the room. Then stepped inside. The room had old furniture and then there was a big tv that had two big cubourd like things on each side of it. I walked inside. Above the tv were plates with faces of Elvis Presly,Lucille Ball,Abbot and Costello,Chuck Norris,Johnny Cash, and Marylin Monroe. I smiled a little. The rest of the walls were plain. A rug resided in the middle of the room. A fire place resided on the wall in front of me. It's bricks a traditional coloring. I walked over to the cubourd's on the sides of the tv. I opened the doors gently. It revealed tons of Dvd's, that were stacked daintily. They were all old black and white movies. I smiled and shut the door. Danny leaned against the wall beside the doorway.
