Chapter 11
I turned the radio on. I was two hours away from Janets and had 2 more hours to go. It was 6. Sam should be getting up now. Shit. Baily! I thought. I was supposed to get her. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called Sam. I heard someone pick up the phone. Then muffling in the background.
“Hullo?” I heard Sam’s voice. She sounded tired.
“Hey Sam it’s Kyle could you walk over to Baily’s its a block away from the beach its a one story house and it has a truck and a mustang in front. Tell her I’m not coming to school today.. Because I’m sick.” I heard Sam groan.
“Your already skipping school Kyle... I won’t do anything this is to help you. I groaned and cussed under my breath.
“Sam Elizabeth Addams. You do as I say. I’m not doing anything bad.I have to figure something out. So if you don’t get your ass over to her house this morning. When I get back I am not going to talk to you for a whole month.” I said. I had nothing else to say or else I would sound like her father and we wouldn’t want that now would we? I chuckled at my thoughts.
“Fucking pain in my ass.” I heard her mutter. I chuckled.
“Love you too Sam. Now I got to go. Stay over at Cloey’s tonight.” I didn’t want to have to worry about Janet getting a hold of Sam. Sam groaned.
“but she’s so annoying.” She said.
“But you were over their before and you liked her.” I heard Sam groan again.
“I know but I just I got to know her.. I’ll go to Kayla’s don’t worry bout it.” I sighed in relief.
“K bye sis.” I said and shut the phone. I felt a little tired at this moment. I looked at the sign I reached Austin. I sighed.
“Here we go..” I said to myself. I looked forward. Seeing the Austin insane institution then the County Jail. It was huge and had Barb wire, big walls, and posts that had ligts and what looked like snipers. I breathed in heavily. it was 7:30AM the sign in front said visiting hours were from 7AM-3PM. I sighed in relief. I had long enough to get everything and all of my answers answered. I stopped at what looked like a toll booth. The man was blonde haired. He looked like a Ken doll. It was quite sad looking at him. He had black sunglasses on with a troopers hat and outfit. He leaned outside the toll booth.
“Hey how are you sir?” He asked looking inside the car.
“Good how are you?” I asked. The man looked around the car a little longer and nodded.
“Better then I deserve. What’s your purpose for coming here to Austin?” He asked.
“A visit.” I said. He nodded.
“Alright go on through.” He said stepping back into the toll booth and opening the gate to go in. I waved and started in to the parking lot. I parked and got out of the car. Locking it. I walked up the cement walkway up to two big steel doors. Two men that were insanely muscular were standing in front. They were armed. I gulped. They eyed me.
“Look at this one.” One man said on the left.
“What a pansey.” The one on the left said. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
“Can I just get through?” I asked angrily. They smirked.
“Go on in.” They said in unison. The doors opened automatically. The floor and ceiling were white tile. The lights in the cieling flickered when the door shut. On both sides of me their were glass walll like windows. I walked on to another set of steel doors and 2 more men in front of it. They took out a metal detecter. I took out my keys, phone, and took off my belt. (It had metal studs on it). The man took the metal detector and it went across my body. Nothing. I smirked as the guy groaned.
