Jack.G's POV:
Her eyes have lost colour, face is ten times paler than last week, hair is turning a sickening shade of brown, fingernails bitten to the nub, posture slumping, emotions...wrecked.
I hated seeing my best friend falling to pieces. It killed me.
Okay I can't say that in this situation considering her brother...but you understand what I mean.

I walked into the kitchen to see Kathleen and Tanner sitting at the table. She was watching him intensively as his shaky hands brought the fork of eggs towards his mouth. She slowly moved her gaze towards her lap and shut her eyes. As for tanner he just attempted to feed himself. He dropped the spoon sending some milk to splatter every where. Kathleen's head shot up with worry written all over her face.

"Don't worry I just lost my grip" Tanner reassured her and she let out a sigh of relief.
I slowly walked over to her and her head shot my way.
"Good morning" she smiled but I could see right through the fakeness.
"Good morning" I smiled back and bent down to give her a hug.
"Are the other guys up?" She went back to watching Tanner.
"I think Nash is up but that's about it" I shrugged.
"Okay" she nodded. As if on queue Nash and Cameron walked into the kitchen. The clinking drop of the spoon filled the kitchen again and every one's heads turned towards tanner.
"Um...I'm kinda full" he whispered and got up slowly, struggling to his feet. He limped towards the living room and once he was out of sight Kathleen let out a breath that I didn't knew w she was holding in. We all looked at her and she had her face in her hands, she rubbed her face and looked straight ahead of her.

"Don't worry" Cameron whispered and walked towards her. He wrapped an arm around her and she leaned into his chest.
"I'm just scared" she mumbled.
"I know you're scared, we are all scared...but we have to stay strong and take care of him" Cameron reassured her. She nodded her head and stood up from the table, she turned on the sink and started washing dishes.
"Morning guys" Meg smiled slightly and sat down at the table.
"The girls wanna have a 4 way Skype call and discuss the home coming dance" she asked quietly with hope laced in her voice as she directed her attention to Kathleen. Kathleen looked over her shoulder for a second and then looked back at the sink.
"I guess" she mumbled. Meg's smile faltered but she tried to keep it on her face.
"Okay...tell me when you're ready" she whispered and disappeared up stairs again.

Kathleen's POV:
"Okay tell me when you're ready" Meg smiled then walked back upstairs.
The truth is I don't really want to see the girls. I haven't talked to any one since the hospital. I have some collect my work and bring it home but other than that I've stayed home. But if it makes Meg and the girls happy...then I'll do it.

I finished the dishes and by then all the guys were up and getting ready for school.
"Bye Kathleen" Carter smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Bye Bean" Nash said with a straight face and gave me a hug.
"Have a good day" Jack.G smiled and hugged me tightly. The rest of the guys said good bye and rushed out the door to go to school.
I let out a huff and walked up stairs, I went into my dark bedroom to see Meg on the bed with the laptop. I sunk into the bed and watched the screen to see my self and Meg, Sarah, Kayleigh and Tami. I heard gasps from the line and it caused me to jump.
"I know...I turned into a vampire" I force a smile trying to lighten the mood. They start to laugh a bit then shake back into business.
"So as we know...the dance is coming very shortly...the decorations are all done and ready and the tickets are all sold...the night of we need to be there 15 minutes early to make sure every thing is ready" Tami smiled excitedly.
"Alright" we all smiled and nodded.
"Okay I should get ready for school" Kayleigh smiled and waved good bye before her part went black and we zoomed into just the three of us.
"Same here...bye guys, hope to see you soon Kat" Sarah smiled and waved before it was just the two of the screens.
"When are you coming back?" Tami looked down as she fiddled with her hands.
"I don't know" I shake my head and sigh.
"Well I gotta go to school...see you soon I hope" she smiled and the whole screen went back to the home page.
-------------

I finished sweeping the floor, doing the dishes, washing the laundry, sorting out the book shelf, watering the plants and changing the sheets. Not only was I exhausted but I had to finish my home work.
Meg's had left to go to school for the last majority of the day so I was left by my self to watch over my mom and Tanner.

I slowly made it down the hall towards tanners room. I opened the door to his room to see him peacefully sleeping.
I closed the door and made it up to my moms room, her TV was on and she was laying down.
"Hey mom?" I said quietly standing in the door way. Her head turned towards me and she smiled.
"I'm gonna go for a walk to the stood...I'm gonna get some groceries" I nod and she nods her head and lays back down.

I leave on my black and white plaid pj pants and slip on a grey hoodie, I shove on my ugs as I grabbed my keys and phone as I open the door. The first time I've left in weeks. The sun light blinded my eyes and the fresh breeze filled my nose. I let in a deep breath as I stepped out and closed the door behind me.
I started my walk towards town and watched my surroundings.

I opened the door to the convenience store. I grabbed a black basket and hung it off my forearm. I made my way to the back of the store towards the freezer/fridge section. I opened the freezing door and grabbed a bag or corn and two bags of peas. As soon as I turned around I just about ran into some one but stopped my self just in time. I looked up for my eyes to be met with piercing blue ones.
"Jesus" I huffed under my breath.
"I'm really sorry" he smiled apologetically.
"No it's fine, I wasn't watching where I was going" I shook my head. He looked down at me and smirked a bit.
"Nice outfit" he chuckled. I rolled my eyes and huffed.
"Not too bad your self" I scoffed. He let out a laugh and stuck out his hand.
"Luke" he smiled.
"Kathleen" I shook his head and sent him a small half smile.
"Well it was nice meeting you but my friends are probably waiting for me" he shoved his hands in his pockets of his black hoodie.
"Nice meeting you to" I smiled walking away, sending him another smile over my shoulder when I looked back at him.

Alicia (Kathleen's mom) POV:
Why does it feel like my world is falling before me? I don't know why I feel so empty and dead...
My son is dying before my eyes and I don't know how much time I have! It's killing me. I spend my nights crying away and my days sleeping.
I'm such a bad mother!!!!

(A/N I think I'm just gonna keep it at Kathleen's POV for the rest of the story idk)

Kathleen's POV:
I opened the door to my dark, depressing house and set the grocery bags onto the counter. I entered the living room to see my brother sitting on the couch staring at the blank TV screen.
"Tan?" I said just loud enough for his head to turn my way. He let out a sigh and looked back at the tv.
"I couldn't press the button so I just sat here" he mumbled quietly.
"What do you mean?" I asked nervously and sat beside him.
"My hands..." He started as he tried lifting up his shaky hands.
"It's like I can't do any thing with them" he shook his head and slowly placed them on his lap again.
