Drop off and secrets.

Kat's pov:
"Oh come on, im being nice" Luke smiled, Still keeping the car at a steady pace beside me.
"Fine" i sighed defeated and opened the car door.

The station that was playing started playing 'kids in the dark' by All Time Low and i screeched so loud i though i saw Luke jump about 2 meters.
"My jesus what was that?" Luke breathed heavily. I let out a chuckle and looked at him.
"I just really love this song and i haven't heard it in forever" i laughed.
"You like All Time Low?" He asked surprised.
"Yeah" i stated matter-of-factly.
"...and blink 182, sleeping with sirens, fall out boy...all of those types" i nodded drumming on my thighs along with the song.
"Are you serious?" Luke laughed surprised once again. I nodded my head smiling at him as he pulled up infront of my drive way.

I opened the car door just as Luke stepped beside me.
"So are we on for tomorrow night?" He asked nudging me.
"Yeah we're on" i smiled and shoved my hands in my pockets.
I snapped my head when i heard the front door being open.

"Hey sweat pea, we gotta go now" my mom smiled at me and i noticed her with Tanners arm draped over her and she's supporting him while he walks. He looks at me and smiles then looks at the boy beside me confused.
"Yeah just a sec" i smiled at them. I turned to Luke and he had look on his face i couldn't quite read.
"I have to go" i say in nearly a whisper. He nods slowly and looks into my eyes.
"Call me later" he said quietly and hugs me. After we separates i jog over to my mom and tanner and help him in the car, i look back at Luke and he smiled faintly as i climbed into the car.

Lukes POV:
As i heard the door open from her house my head snapped towards the sound to see who is supposedly Kathleen's mother and what i think is her brother. He looked very sick....very, very sick. Oh my.
"I have to go" she whispered with a look of fear and sadness is her eyes.
"Call me later" i smiled and hugged her then watched her climb into the car.

Kathleen's POV:
"What the hell do you mean?" I shouted and gripped at the roots of my hair as i paced around the office.
"Im sorry, but its getting worse...he's getting worse. It could be a couple years, a couple months or even a couple of weeks" the doctor sighs and takes off his glasses.
"JUST SHUT UP" i yelled at the top of my lungs in his face, i slammed my fist on the desk as i heard my mothers quiet weeps in the corner.
I rushed out the door and slammed it behind me. Thoughts driving my head insane.

The doctor just told me my brother could only have a matter of weeks like it was nothing, well it definitely wasn't nothing. Tears clouded my vision as i ran across the street to the park and slid down an old oak tree. I pulled my knees to my chest and cried. Pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialled the first person that came to mind...Luke.

"Hello?" He questioned.
"Luke" i choked out with a shaky voice.
"Kathleen? What's wrong are you okay?" He sounded worried through the phone, i shook my head forgetting he couldn't see me, whipping the tears from my face.
"No" i sobbed.
