Arya HolmesThe next day, I sat in the mirror, trying on some makeup when suddenly my bedroom door opened up, and there, dad and Adam stood.
My lips parted as I looked at them. "Ada- dad, I- what's happening?" I asked confused.
Dad had an even angrier look than he usually have on his face. "Adam just came by and gave me some information about your friend." Dad spoke.
"What friend?" I asked. Dad sighed, looking down at the floor. "Peter." He said and then walked away.
Quickly, I followed them out to the living room, I needed to hear what Adam could possibly say about Peter. "What about him?" I asked. Dad looked at Adam who looked at me.
"He's violent, Arya." He said.
My brows furrowed in confusion. "You see this bruise here?" He asked, pointing to his very obvious bruise on his cheek. I nodded.
"Peter did it." He said.
He had to be lying right now, right? I looked at both of them confused. "No, Peter would never hurt anyone, he's the sweetest guy I know." I said confused.
"Well, Arya who do you trust more, Adam or that Peter?" Dad asked angrily.
My brows raised as I let out a dry chuckle. "Who do you think? Peter." I said, making both dad and Adam look at me surprised.
"We're taking Adams words now, Arya. If that boy Peter ever steps another foot into this house, then I'll kill him. I don't want you close to him, I don't want you to think about him." Dad spoke sternly.
My lips parted. "Are you crazy? Why are you just believing Adam? He could be making everything up!" I said shocked.
"You listen to me, Arya Holmes. I'm gonna find Peter, and I'm gonna put him in jail. If I ever see you with him, then you'll wish you took my words serious." Dad spoke.
My lips rolled into a line, then I quickly grabbed my phone and stormed out of the building. I was furious, I heard my dad yell at me but I didn't listen.
So I walked out on the street, walked somewhere, I didn't even know where I was going but I needed some air.
Then, I suddenly saw a man staring at me. He was very handsome, standing there in a suit and looked up at me. "Hey, could you give me the direction to 7/11?" He asked.
My brows raised. What was this handsome, well dressed man doing out here on the street? I put on a smile and nodded as I walked closer to him.
"Yeah, so you're gonna-"
Before I could say anything, I felt the familiar arm around my waist, and I saw how that man in front of me gasped. "Not now." I said, rolling my eyes.
Then he swung us away, not saying anything until we reached a random rooftop. I looked at him and he took of his mask. "Were you on a date with that man?" He asked.
My brows furrowed. "No? He asked for directions." I said.
Peter did his oops face, making me roll my eyes as I turned around. He walked up behind me, wrapping his arms around me. He leaned his chin on my shoulder. "Are you okay?" He asked.
Slowly, I shook my head. "Why were you out that late anyways?" He asked. "My dad." I said.
And I knew he understood, because he just tightened the grip around me. "Did he say something?" He asked.
"You... eh, can't come around anymore." I said quietly.
Then I felt how he backed off me, making me turn around to look at him. The look in his eyes made me want to jump off this building. I had never seen him this broken. "What?" He asked.
"Adam came by..." I said, looking at him. He clenched his jaw, and was about to take on his mask and jump off this building, but I grabbed his arm, not allowing him to leave me here. "Did you or did you not hurt Adam?" I asked.
He looked at me. "Does it matter?" He asked, making me gasp. "Peter, did you hurt Adam? Do you even know how terrible his bruises looks? It looks like you tried to kill him!" I said.
"It doesn't matter, Arya!" He said. "Yes it does! I thought you'd never hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it!" I said.
He stared at me. "He deserved it." He spoke through gritted teeth. "You have no idea what he was saying about you." He said.
"No I don't! And it doesn't matter, you might be lying whatever you say! It feels like I don't know you!" I said.
He closed his eyes, shaking his head. "You trust me?" He asked. "I don't know, Peter!" I said.
"You don't mean that. You let me basically swing you around this city! You can't say you don't trust me, Arya." He said.
He was right. I felt safe walking around the street nowadays because somewhere deep inside it felt like Peter would always come and save me. But now, I was incredibly mad. At dad for not letting me be with whoever I want, and at Peter for treating Adam with violence.
"Arya answer me!" He yelled.
Our eyes met, and mine were filled with water now. Once he noticed, he froze. "Take me
down." I said sternly."Arya-" he said. "No. Take me down now. I don't want to be here. I don't want to see you right now." I said.
He sighed. "You're gonna go home?" He asked, making me shake my head. "I don't wanna see my dad." I said.
"Then where are you going?" He asked.
"First of all, I don't know. Second of all, you don't need to know where I am all of the time." I said angrily.
He slowly shook his head. "Look, here's what we gonna do." He said.
"You're not gonna like this but I'm gonna take you home with me." He said, and I quickly shook my head. "No, absolutely not." I said.
He raised his brows while looking at me. "I don't want you wondering around these streets alone at night. If you do, then non of us will get any sleep. So I'm gonna take you home to me. You can sleep in my bed, I'll sleep on the couch. But you're coming home with me. I won't talk, see or look at you. I will keep distance, but you're staying the night." He said.
"No, Peter I'd rather die than sleeping at your house." I said, obviously exaggerating. But he didn't listen, he rolled his eyes while putting on his mask, and I tried to back off but he was quick to wrap his arm around my waist and then started swinging us towards his apartment.
And I didn't even try to fight it. He's Spider-Man for gods sake, I wouldn't win anyways. When we entered his apartment, I immediately rushed into his bedroom and smashed the door shut.
