Save Me | Billie Eilish

Chapter 5

 "GOOD MORNING LOTTIE! TIME TO GET UP AND SAVE DRUNK PEOPLE!!" Yelled Jackson. "Nope I'm going back to sleep," I said covering my head with pillows. Coachella was crazy but fun. I am so tired right now. Last night we had a patient that was hopped up on lord knows what. When we tried to get him some help and get him an IV and a little Narcan to reverse some of the effects of the drugs he was on, he started running. I chased him on foot. Jackson was a lucky son of a bitch and hopped in the cart.

"Fine I will get up if you quit this shit, Jacks," I said angrily. "Well, you're cranky." Said Jackson. "Yeah just let me get a cup of Joe in and then I will be better. I am sorry Jacks." I said truthfully. Jackson and I went and headed don to the in-hotel restaurant to get us some breakfast. I of course got the waffles with bacon and eggs A.K.A. the breakfast of champions.

"Alrighty, Jackson you ready to get goin for Coachella Day 2 of three?" I asked him. 

"Hell yeah let's get up in the truck and get out of here." He said. The line today was really long going into Coachella when we drove past it to get into the VIP/Services entrance. 

"Oh, Jacks I ran into an old childhood friend yesterday. Do you remember me telling you about Claudia?" I asked Jacks. 

"Oh yeah, I do. That's crazy that you saw her here." He said shocked. 

"Yeah she was actually my patient yesterday. Anyways her boyfriend is apparently performing here this evening with his little sister. Do you think we could set up camp by the outside stage so I can watch in my free time and listen in?" I asked hopeful giving him my puppy dog eyes. "Sure dude that's sick lets do it." Once we get to the outside stage we start to set up the truck like we did yesterday.

As I was setting up our tent I saw a flash of black and green fly past me. I looked and it was a person with green roots and black ends. on a scooter. How are they using a scooter on grass? Hmm, I don't know what that was. After many patients, almost all were dehydrated or were feelin sick it was finally about 9 pm. 

"Hey, Lotts! Aren't your friends playing soon?" Jackson asked.

"Oh, laws you're right! Anytime." I answered happily. I am so proud of Claudia and my new bud Finn. They are so happy and successful and I couldn't be more excited for them.

Suddenly the lights near the stage turned off and a timer popped up on the big screen. It said 'Billie Eilish in 10 minutes' The people here were screaming so loud. 

"Ohhhhh Billie Eilish this is Jessica's favorite. I thought the person's name this whole time was Billy Eyelush. Well, I am glad we are able to watch Jessie wanted me to take pictures and videos for her." I said to Jackson. 

"Wait didn't you say it was that guy Finneas that was supposed to be on soon." Jacks said confused. 

"Yeahhh? Hmmmm, well it is supposed to be him and his little sister maybe her name is Billie Eilish or something I don't know?" Now I'm confused about all of this. Last night Claudy gave me her number so I decided that I would text her and tell her that I am watching at the outside stage and to tell her and Finn good luck.

All of a sudden the lights go off again and the only light in the area are phone cameras, our trucks, and the vendors for food and stuff. Then they start flickering like crazy. All of a sudden on the huge screens I see Finneas and this girl walk up to the front of the stage. She had black and green hair, wait was she the one that I saw this mornin? I quickly got a close-up of her and god she was incredible so so gorgeous. A big smile soon crept on my face. We weren't having any patients now since everyone was enjoyin the show. 

"Hey, Jacks I'm gonna hop on my cart and head to the right of the stage and see if there is anyone who needs help over there. Radio me if you get any problems." I said. 

"Okay! Wait are you sure it's not to see Billie. I saw your big smile a minute ago." He said with a smirk. 

"Man leave me alone with all of that," I said while turning the key to power the cart.

I quickly drive over to the side of the stage looking over the crowd looking for anyone in need. Luckily I wasn't seeing anyone so I was able to just sit and watch which was super nice seeing that my new friend and his beautiful sister were playing. Man her voice is so soulful and pure. She is absolutel- Wait what am I thinking it's my friend's little sister plus I don't even know her.

As I am watching it was like things fell into slow motion. I watched Billie jump on an object that was suddenly thrown on stage. I watched her ankle almost fold in half and as she slipped I watched her hit her head on the hard stage. I watched to see if she would get up but she wasn't.
