"So you guys met through Claudia this morning and you and Claudia are childhood friends?" She asked.

'Yes it seems so." I said agreeing with her.

"Why didn't Claudia tell me she knew a gorgeous girl like you, hm?" This girl is so bold. Jesus take the wheel.

"Well you're the one who's talkin darlin." I said with a wink. "Now it seems that we are getting close to the hospital. The doctors are going to wheel you straight back and as you aren't in any severe condition they are going to get you into a room and start running some tests get you on some medicine and get you on the road to recovery. I am so sorry that this has happened sweetheart. I absolutely hope that you get to feeling better soon so you can get back on that stage popstar." I said with another wink and a smile. Where did I get all of this confidence from all of the sudden. Oops sorry Finneas man he is quiet. I forgot he was in here my bad...awkward.

We soon came to a stop and Jacks came and opened the back doors to help me get Billie out of the truck. She smiled but then got upset once again making me frown. "You're not coming with me?" She asked.

"Oh no sweetheart we are on duty and have to get back to the festival." I said sadly. I was actually really happy though that she wanted me with her; but I also didn't want to leave her either.

"Well Charlie by the time we get over there people are going to be filing out the festival will be over and besides there are other medics that are still there we are the only ones with an emergency tonight. I think that we can stay if you want to." Said Jackson

"Do you want me to stay with you Billie?" I said.

"Please." She said with a smile.

"Okay doll let's get you an x-ray and some pain killers." I said smiling back at the young girl happy that she wanted me to stay with her. I am really happy that she wanted me here. I am really starting to care for this girl. I have only known her for about an hour but there is just something about this girl.

We quickly push her into the hospital with the ER doc coming in to see the high profile patient. "Billie Eilish, 18 years old, tripped and fell, hit her head pretty badly. Her ankle folded over pretty bad, at the time her pupils looked normal. She told me that she feels she just has a migraine type of pain,however is in a lot of pain with this ankle and this is not the first time that she has injured her ankles." I said quickly to the doctor trying to just sum up what I had learned and observed in my short time of caring for her.

"Okay Miss Eilish we are going to take good care of you. I am ordering a CT scan for your brain just to check for any traumatic injuries to your brain, an x-ray for the bones in your ankle, and an MRI also for your ankle to check for any injury to your muscles and ligaments. I also am going to get you some pain killers so we can get you feeling better. The nurses are going to take good care of you I will check back up on you in a little while when I get some of your results back." The provider said before stepping back out of the room.

"I am going to go out to the waiting room to go wait for mom, dad and Claudia. Will you be okay here Billie?" Finneas asked.

"Yeah I'll be good." She said. Finneas then left the small room. "Well that's just great. I shouldn't be here. I should be at Coachella, on stage." Billie stressed.

"You can't help getting injured sweetheart, this is out of your control. The only thing you can control is your future. Getting better and working on yourself, so you can get back on stage doing what you love." I said with a small smile trying to lift the girl's mood.

"Where did you learn all of this you are so wise dude. Like where did you get all of this." She said with a smile on her face.

"Well I have been an EMT for two years and you learn a lot very quickly in this field. I have seen many things the average person never sees . I meet so many people each and every day and you learn a lot about people and life in general." I said getting a little deep.

'You're a really cool person..."

"Charlotte White, but call me Lottie." I said kindly

"Mmkay Lottie the super smart hottie." She said making me laugh hysterically. "That was really bad" she said with a giggle. She has this strong outer shell but on the inside she is a strong, brave yet soft and sweet girl.

"Thank you for staying with me beautiful." She said to me sleepily.

"You're welcome get some rest I'll wake you up if something is going on." I said with a soft smile as the girl quickly fell asleep. This girl is quickly making her way into my heart.
