Chapter 4

"Wait, Claudia Sulewski?? Like from Chicago??" I asked excitedly. 

"YES!!" She said just as excited as I am. 

"Wow! Hi Darlin! How have you been?? It's been like three years since I've seen ya, like high school." I said happily I get to see my old friend. She has grown so much since I have last seen her. 

"OH MY GOSH! I have been doing so well. This is Finneas, my boyfriend. We have been doing sooo well. I have been on Youtube making videos. It has been way too long we need to catch up soon. How are you doing? Wait how are you in Cali??" She said energetically.

"I moved to LA when I graduated high school with my EMT license. I have been an LA EMT ever since. I love it so much! You know me Claudy just taking life one day at a time. I'm so happy to see y'all. Anyone family of Claudia is family of mine." I said with a cheery and blushing smile. 

"Wait, I'm sorry. I am so confused. How do you two know each other?" Finneas said confused. Claudia and I both giggle. 

"I'm originally from Georgia if you couldn't tell," I said sarcastically 

"We all can tell Lottie, babe." Claudia interrupted.

"Anyways before Claudia rudely interrupted me," I said with sass and a laugh. 

"The summer before I started high school my whole family moved to Chicago. When my older sister Channing and I started high school she was a junior, I was a freshman and she met Claudy. They became best friends. Unlike other siblings, my sister and I are very very close so my sister's friends were my friends. Claudy and my sister let me hang out with them all the time so we became really, really close. Claudy was actually the first person I came out to because I knew she was Bisexual. I was scared to tell my friends even though we are all very close. Then when Claudy and my sister graduated. Claudy moved here to Cali and my sister stayed in Chicago for college. That's basically the story." I explained. 

"Wow! That's actually crazy that we all happened to meet here at Coachella!" Said Finneas happily. 

"I've really missed you, Lottie. We definitely need to hang out soon!" Said Claudia with a big smile.

"Yes we should," I said with a smile. It's at this very moment that Finneas' phone starts to ring. 

"Sorry. It's Billie" Said Finneas. While Finneas answered the phone I finished documenting Claudia's physical, mental, and emotional state. All of us health care people know... if it isn't documented it didn't happen.

 "Hey, Billie." Said Finneas. 

"Bro where the FUCK are you?" Said the person I'm assuming is Billie said. I wasn't trying to eavesdrop on his call since that's rude, he just had the phone up loud. Eavesdropping is something my momma would hit me upside the head for. I shivered just thinking about it. 

"Claudia got really dehydrated so we are sitting in an ambulance with my new friend and Claudia's childhood friend Charlie. Claudia has an IV in so we are waiting for her to rehydrate." Explained Finneas. 

"OH MY GOD BRO IS SHE OKAY?!? CLAUDIA ARE YOU OKAY?!?" Yelled this Billie person. 

"Okay OW that was loud." Said Finneas while rubbing his ear. 

"Shut up Finneas! CLAUDIA ARE YOU OKAY?!?" Said Billie. I started to laugh loudly at this. 

"Hi, Billie baby I am okay sweetheart. We will probably meet you back in the green room in a little bit. My bag is almost done, and I'm feeling a lot better." Claudia said making me smile. I'm so glad I was able to help her. Especially since she is basically like an older sister to me. 

"Who's there? Shawty's laugh is cute." This Billy girl said making me blush. Wait I don't even know her. 

"Okay, Billie. Talk to you later." Hurried Finneas making Claudia laugh as he quickly hung up. 

"Sorry Charlie. Wait can I call you Charlie?" He asked. 

"Yeah I usually go by Charlie but since you obviously love Claudia, we're basically family. Call me what you want Hunny," I said making the couple blush.

"Alrighty Claudy, how are you feeling now?" I asked. 

"Thank you so much for helping me, Lottie. I love you lots. I'm feeling much better." Claudia said. 

"Yeah thank you so much Charlie for taking care of her. I definitely owe you." Said Finneas gratefully. 

"Oh my goodness, bless y'all hearts. Don't even worry. I love my job and taking care of people. I love Claudia and once we got you feelin better we had fun." I said kindly. 

"Now I have some instructions for y'all. It is for your own good hun. I know you and I know you aren't going to stop partyin even though you should go to your hotel and rest for the weekend but if you make sure to drink lots of water tonight before tomorrow and keep water on you tomorrow AND drink it all day. I will let you go okay?" I said. 

"Okay, I will only for you." Said Claudia. I gave Finneas a stern look. 

"I will make sure she does." Said Finneas.

"Thank you, Finn." I said. I put a folded piece of gauze on top of the catheter and pulled it out. 

"Claudy please hold the gauze on your hand and put pressure," I said while looking for my sticky bandage. I grabbed the roll and wrapped it around Claudia's hand. 

"Okay now, where are you going now?" I asked. 

"We are going to go to the artist green rooms, to meet Billie and rest." Finneas said. That caught me off guard. THE ARTIST GREEN ROOMS!! I look at Claudy.

"THE ARTIST GREEN ROOMS?!? Claudia Sulewski, what did you get yourself into?" I said shocked and confused. Finneas and Claudia laughed.

"Finneas is a singer/songwriter and producer. He is performing with his little sister tomorrow!" Claudia said excitedly. 

"Oh my goodness that is crazy! Congratulations Finneas that is amazing!" I said shocked while cleaning the truck.

"Yeah, you should come tomorrow we are on at 9:35 pm on the outside stage." Said Finneas. 

"Oh, tomorrow Jackson and I will go set up over there for the day so we can watch. I would love to see y'alls perform and do y'alls thing." I said making Claudia giggle. 

"Since the artist green rooms are quite far from here I am going to drive y'all over there." I offered.
