*DISCONTINUED* Hidden Past

1. How Lila and Marinette met

This is in junior high near the end of the year. Marinette and Lila were in the same last class of the day. A class where Alya was not in and Marinette had few friends. The teacher announced that they'd be doing a project with partners. The teacher then let everybody pick partners. Marinette would've asked one of her friends but they had all paired up with somebody else. She saw one girl seating in the back though. She seen her seating alone and decided she'd maybe ask her. Marinette walked up to the girl and asked her to be friends. The girl being Lila shrugged and mumbled a quick whatever. The two had never even spoken to each other before. But for some reason they both felt like they knew each other somehow before. After class Marinette ran up to Lila before meeting up with Alya like she usually does and walking home with her. She asked Lila what she wanted to do for the project. Lila ignored Marinette and kept walking. It's not that Lila had anything against Marinette she had just didn't like speaking to people. Specially people like Marinette. Mostly because people like Marinette pained her because they reminded her of someone she knew and deeply missed. Marinette ran to Lila again and grabbed her shoulder stopping her and asking her, "What's wrong?" Lila pulled her shoulder away and said, "Nothing to just leave me alone. I'll do the project on my own." Then walked away. Marinette stood their stunned for a minute before Alya walked up. Alya asked if something was the matter and Marinette answered no and they walked to home together. The next day Marinette walked up to Lila again who she had lucky also had first period with. She asked Lila about the project again and Lila responded, "Listen stop pretending that you actually want to help with the project. I know you just asked me cause you knew I would do the project all by myself. Meaning no work for you." Marinette's eyes widen. She didn't know why Lila thought that way. After a moment to digest Mari said,"I'm not trying to use you Lila. I really do wanna help you with the project. I'm not that kind of person." Lila looked Marinette up and down and said, "Fine meet at the library at five." Marinette nodded her head with a smile and went to her sister where Alya questioned her. Marinette explained then class begun. Later at like 5:25, Marinette ran into the library to Lila and tripped right before reaching her. Lila eyes widened as she did not except Marinette to come. Marinette got up and walked to Lila she whispered, "Sorry. Being on time isn't exactly something I'm good at." Lila stared at Marinette who was now seating next to her looking at her wide eyed. Marinette then smiled and said, "You thought I ghosted you didn't you. I already told you I'm not that kind of person." Marinette then grabbed a book and started reading a bit. Lila finally came to her senses and started reading again. The rest of the year they were no longer strangers nor friends they were just two people who talked from time to time. The beginning of their high school career though Lila seemed different. Lila started lying to get popular. It actually seemed like all Lila cared about. Marinette tried confronting Lila but Lila just told Marinette to mind her business then continued on with how she acted.

Wow first official chapter of this or do I call it a page? Wtv I just wanted to give the background of them to clear somethings that I might bring up in future chapters/page. Anywho I think that's all. So bug out miraculors!
