12. What is Amber to you Lila

Later that afternoon Lila walked into the bakery. She sees Marinette and Marcus standing there basically waiting there. Lila starts, "I know you guys are probably wondering why I'm here again-" Marinette cuts Lila off by grabbing her and pulling her upstairs where Marcus follows. Once upstairs Marinette says, "Lila we want to make a deal." Very confused Lila asks, "What?" Then marcus says, "In exchange for you staying here you need to tell us who Amber is to you." Marinette adds, "And why you're running from her." Lila eyes widen and she looks down. Lila sighs and looks up again. Lila responds, "Fine I'll tell you guys... Ambers my sister and I'm running from her cause I don't deserve to see her." Marcus and Marinette's eyes widen and their mouths dropped as shock over took them. Marinette then asked, "W-why don't you think you deserve to see her...?" Lila looked down and fist clenched up as she responded, "Because I caused so much pain for her then had the nerve to leave her!" Marinette looked at Marcus both a little less shocked. Marinette then grabbed Lila's hands and held them up making Lila lift her head up. Marinette said, "Lila as someone's who's also made the mistake of leaving someone they care about I know seeing them is great and sure you'll feel bad at first but you'll feel even better after talking to them." Marcus added, "Also being the someone she's talking about I know getting to her made me feel so much better and I'd be more mad if she just avoided me then if she talked to me..." Lila eyes widened as they filled with tears. Marinette then hugged Lila and whispered in her ear. "Go talk to her..." After that Lila took off. She ran to her apartment building and saw Amber about to get in a taxi to leave. Lila screamed Ambers name on the top of her lungs. Amber looked up to see Lila and ran to her. Then the two hugged. Lila apologized a thousand times with tears falling and her voice cracking. Then Amber just said, "It's okay... I'm just glad you're here and talking to me!" The two hugged again. Then after the sweet moment Amber asked what made Lila finally talk to her. And Lila told Amber about what Marcus and Marinette said to her. Amber was grateful. And later late in the night Amber went to dupains residence and asked to see Marcus and Marinette. She said, "My sister told me about what you guys said to her... and I knew I had to say thank you... if it weren't for you two I wouldn't have my little sister back. And also sorry I know I've done a lot of horrible things to you two and a Sorry really doesn't cut it but it's all I can do right now." Marinette and Marcus stood their in shock. Then Marinette said, "Your right a sorry doesn't cut it... but maybe... one day... it will... And also what I did wasn't for you it was for Lila. She was my friend at one point and I couldn't just let her feel so miserable... goodnight Amber." Marinette closed the door on a shocked Amber. At the moment Marinette had so many emotions and she didn't know anymore. Once the door shut Marinette was crying and fell against the door and on the floor. What Amber just said is what Marinette all along. Or it's what she thought she needed. She thought it would fill the whole in her heart. She thought it would make up for Amber so mercilessly breaking her heart just as she did her best friend. But it didn't and the fact that it didn't hurt Marinette deeply. She couldn't handle it and cried all night with Marcus by her side the whole time. Also somewhat feeling her pain and crying too.

Omg there was so much crying and mental breakdowns in this one. I feel bad for my characters. Also I created Amber to be like the meanest character in this story and Im over already giving her character development and having her apologize like... But I don't want to make her an a-hole and then Lila gotta have a sh!tty sister I'm so confused! Imma just have to deal with it... Bug out miraculors!
