*DISCONTINUED* Hidden Past

9. The sleepover

The next few days Mari avoided Amber as per Marcus request. In the past Amber would come up with some plan and give her a hard time for that but Amber seemed to be busy with something else. Alya wanted to ask so bad about Amber and what her deal was but she couldn't bring herself to do it. Marcus told Marinette to try to do something to get her mind of the whole situation. So she had a sleepover she invited Alya who in return invited Nino who invited Adrien. Once they all arrived they went straight up to Marinette's room. The four teens all had fun and hung out. Marinette was a bit surprised to see Adrien and Nino but she wasn't not okay with it. She also teased Alya a bit about inviting the boy knowing they went out the other day. Later in the day Marcus walked in... in his wolf form. Marcus said not yet seeing everybody in Marinette's room, "Hey Marin- uh" Marcus noticed the boys with wide eyes and laughs a bit nervous like. Marinette laughed nervously and said, "Nice cosplay marcus...." Alya added, "Yeah...." Then Adrien said, "That is not a cosplay..." Marinette responded, "What're you talking about of course it is..." Alya added another, "Yeah..." Then Nino said, "But Alya you love and believe werewolves are real. Why would you say something like that?" Alya eyes widen and said, "UH-" Marcus then said, "Alright you right. It's not fake I'm really a werewolf- ." Adrien then said, "I knew it!" Then Marcus added, "And you're a vampire." Adrien stopped and absolutely froze. Nino looked at Adrien to see how he'd respond. The two girls yelled in sync, "WHAT?!" Adrien then said, "I'm not a vampire that's crazy talk...." Marcus responded, "Then prove it." Adrien said, "How?" Marinette chimed in after grabbing a cookie, "Then eat this." Adrien frowned. Adrien took the cookie and slowly started putting it towards his mouth. Right before Adrien took the bite he threw the cookie and said, "Yeah no! I'd rather expose what I am then eat that and have to throw up later..." Nino asked, "Wait what?" Marinette answered, "Vampires can't eat human food if they do they have to vomit later. It's like eating something inedible to them." Alya spoke, "Yeah I remember writing about that on my blog. Nice to know you watch." Marinette smiles a bit. Adrien speaks up, "Well now that you guys know my secret can you all promise not to tell." Marcus replies, "Only if you do the same." Adrien says, "Yes." Then Marinette says, "Wow I never would've guessed you were a vampire..." Adrien asks, "And why's that?" Marinette answers, "Well no offense but I've always heard vampires are selfish privileged brats." Alya mumbles, "Dang..." Adrien replies, "Well I could say the same for you Marinette. After all I've always heard werewolves were dirty and violent." Marinette responds, "Well it looks like you were wrong." Adrien says, "And you think you weren't." Marinette answers, "I never said that." Adrien then said, "But your tone seemed like you were." Alya says, "Well this is awkward." Nino then says, "Yeah...Did we miss something?" Marcus replies, "No vampires and werewolves have never really gotten along. And it takes the slightest thing to get them to argue." Alya says, "Wow I am getting so much info for my blog." Nino then says, "If that's the case why aren't you also fighting with Adrien?" Marcus replies, "To be honest I really don't know. Plus Marinette didn't always dislike vamps it's just something that happened as a kid made her change her point of view on them. So it's just different for her." Then the two both said, "Oh." Then Marcus started to get tired of watching the two argue. So he shouted, "Okay enough!" And Adrien and Marinette stopped. Then Lila walked in. Alya and Marinette's eyes widen and they both shouted, "What're you doing here?!" Lila then responded somewhat out of breath, "I over heard you two talking about it and I needed a place to stay." Marinette noticed Lila's worried demeanor and messy hair plus heavy breathing. So Marinette spoke up and asked, "Are you... running from someone?" Lila seemed surprised by the question. Lila quickly responded, "No!" Everyone was confused. And then Lila looked over and saw Marcus. Lila's eyes widen and Marcus noticed that she had realized. Marcus quickly said, "It's a cosplay!" And the others quickly all said, "Yeah." Trying to help Marcus cover up. Lila then said, "I know it's not, but if you guys let me stay here I promise not to tell..." Marinette then said, "Deal." And Marcus asked, "Why though?" Lila got ticked at Marcus and shouted, "None of your business!" Marcus yelled, "Ow! Sensitive ears!!!" The sleepover continued. With a few snarky remarks from Lila. And soon everybody fell asleep.
