Thanksgiving

"Hull Im going to miss you next week" I said to dave as i looked over as he drove to his mom house

It was thanksgiving and his mom Linda invited me and Kunie to come along with dave for thanksgiving dinner. Jazmine got talked into going to her grandma house with her sister so she wasn't with us.

"Mama im literally leaving Thursday ill be back Saturday morning" he said putting squeezing my thigh with his hand

Dave had to go to Chicago for a promoting thing next week and I decided me and kunie were going to stay because I had to work Friday Night

"I know imma just be bored  but i gotta work friday and ash is off again so i gotta work with another bartender from another club" i said looking out the window thinking about the last time i worked without ash a couple weeks ago when marcus tried to move on me. I told dave about it and i literally had to stand against the door for him to not leave and kill that man

Ive never seen him that mad but I mean I understand why, Marcus moved back to atl fully and works at the club full time and not allowed to come back to the ny club after ash made me tell Cindy what happened.

"Kunie what we gonna do next week all by our self" i looked back at kia in the backseat who was on her ipad

"Mommy we can go get our nails done" She said showing me her fingers

"Oo thats sounds like fun, nevermind we dont we need you anymore " i sticked my tongue out at her before turning around hearing her giggle

"wow" Dave dragged out " its like that "

"Yup" me and kia said in unison

"You are your mothers child K" he said, turning onto a street full of nice looking houses. He soon pulled into a driveway where there were a lot of cars already.

"Ight we here " he said parking and started getting out

I got out of the car and opened the back door for Kunie helping her out her booster seat and jump down.

"Hold on Kunie and leave the ipad in the car. You can come back and get it later" I told her as she crossed her arms and pouted as I fixed her hair a little bit. I flat ironed it last night and when i say my child has alot of hair—took 4 hours..it took 4 hours. I knew what i was getting myself into but Jesus

"Don't start fix your face —here" I pointed the lip gloss to her and she gave me her finger. I squeezed some and she put it on her lips

We walked with Dave to the front door and You could tell Kunie loved her hair. She made it flow every time she walked purposely. I shook my head at her smiling.

Before Dave could even open the door you could tell it was a lot of people in the house. You could hear the whole conversation. He opened the door and everyone that was in the living room greeted him when he went in. I picked kunie up putting her on my hip
