Heartbreak Makes You Tough

There are times when you wonder why people suddenly change

You wonder how, you wonder why and then you thought, "How lame!"

And if one day, one of these people is someone you like most,

All the feelings you've invest, can't imagine it will lost.

Some people change because what they felt weren't that true,

Maybe it's infatuation when in you it's a love that's true

But if she wouldn't let you hear any side of her story,

You'll end up thinking, wondering, a topic that you can't just bury.

If in your next endeavor you face the same situation,

The cycle then rewinded, before it ends you already envisioned

That the love you have kept will soon fade away,

It will make you tough, rough and ruthless the next day.

You have learned to be wise because your heart has been broken,

You have learned to hide your feelings 'coz you've been fooled and now stricken,

The next person that will come your way may find it hard to go through you,

'Cause the wall that you've created is as sturdy and hard to break through.
