You Inspire Me

I didn't ask for it, but it was given

I wasn't sure if I'll make it, but I was driven

You gave me strength, your trust and vote of confidence

To love my work, write with passion and share with sense

All the gladness that I felt seems for eternity

Knowing that I'm not alone as I walk through this journey

I met new friends, new people and new experiences

My heart that has felt unloved seems never had those bruises
