Forgetting You

This poem is dedicated to my baby Sweet. Nakakainis ka alam mo ba yun? Nakakainis ka, papasok pasok ka sa puso namin ng hindi nagpapaalam tapos ngayon sasabihin mong aalis ka na? Pero dahil mahal kita, sige lang. Reach your dreams. Gawin mo ang gusto mong gawin. Siguraduhin mo lang na you'll reach your dreams and goals with flying colors ha? I love you Sweet. Always. When someone that's so dear will go away.

To think that they will leave and wouldn't stay.

To forget what you once had and say okay.

It isn't easy,

Telling lies in front of them and hide your dismay.

It isn't easy,

Especially if you've been a friend for quite too long,

It isn't easy,

Pretending it's still the same and show I'm strong,

It isn't easy,

Knowing we'll never sing our favorite song,

It isn't easy,

I know my love for you was never wrong.

It isn't easy,

I know that what you do, is for the best.

It isn't easy,

To forget us, I hope not, above the rest.

It isn't easy,

I'll miss those little moments when we mess,

It isn't easy,

You, we always love you, that's a yes.

You might think you wouldn't hear of me from now on,

You might think you should stay away and be on your own,

I'm just right here, unmoving, waiting, and still the same me,

Because forgetting you is as hard as saying that you don't mean to me as much as you do.
