Mumza angrily slapped Dream across the head, knocking his mask off to show his terrified and anxious face.

(SFEN: MUMMY DEAREST! ALSO HAHAHAHA, GET REKT DREAM)

"LEAVE MY CHILDREN ALONE," she said angrily, raising him by the collar. He raised his bloody hands in terror.

(SFEN: SLAY MUMZA SLAY!)

"I am so sorry ma'am," he said while cowering. Mumza furrowed her brow and back handed him. Gold blood trickled down his face.

(SFEN: ooh ichor)

"I-I-I had no clue they were yo - " He was cut off by Mumza yelling at him.

(SFEN: "i had no clue they wer eyours" says the man that tried to kill them with no hesitation)

Chapter 44: Gone

"ENOUGH!!!" Mumza's voice echoed around them, even Ranboo heard it from the top of the building.

"Do you wish to be exiled again? You foolish man, no wonder you're the god of greed and illusion. You're blind," she spat. Mumza picked up the broken mask and shoved it into his arms.

"Now go!" she ordered. Everyone looked stunned when Dream disappeared.

(SFEN: man left faster than my dad)

Mumza sighed, pinching the bridge of their nose. They looked at Tommy and Y/N.

"I'll prepare the medicine." She smiled at them sweetly. With a flick of her finger, she vanished. 

Y/N saw Ranboo carrying Tubbo. He managed to gain enough power to teleport down. Y/N got up from the ground, wiping the blood from their mouth.

Y/N limped over to Tommy. Y/N realized they were back to reality. The buildings stopped changing, and they were back in the streets of their hometown.

(SFEN: kewl everyone is fine :D)

"I think he is dead," Ranboo said, placing a hand on Y/N's shoulder. They quickly checked his pulse. Gone.

(SFEN: haha, me and Z totally didn't make Ra1n write this in the book by egging them on in the group chat, haha)

Y/N picked him up with the last of their strength. Ranboo teleported them to the front of Tommy's home.

(SFEN: oh crap they gotta tell Wilbur
I swear if he opens the door while leaning against the frame holding a snake I will adopt him)

Y/N had tears streaming down their face, but all three of them were quiet. Y/N was just glad Tubbo wasn't awake for this.

Y/N knocked on the door. Wilbur opened the door tiredly with a smile, but it slowly faded as his eyes shift to Tommy.

Y/N set his body on the couch.

Wilbur places his hands on his mouth. He softly sobs, trying his best to keep it in. But Tommy, his only family...is gone...

(SFEN: bit too rough of a ping pong match, sorry, won't happen again)

Y/N went to the restroom, staring into the mirror. They washed their face, blood trickling onto the sink counter. Y/N rested their elbows on the sink, putting their head in their hands.

Ranboo knocked on the door, Y/N gulped and answered.

(SFEN: so freaking hyped)

"I'm in here," they said. Ranboo sighed.
