Y/n tried running but Tommy had a better idea. He spread out his wings through through the shirt slits that Mumza sowed. He picked Y/n up and flew as fast as he could.

"TOMMY!!" Y/n yelped as he flew higher and higher.

Chapter 58: Talk To Me

It only took a couple minutes before they arrived safely at the school. People peered up, pointing at the two of them as Tommy landed.

"Well that's a way to make an entrance." Y/n said, dusting themselves off as Tommy let them down.

People scattered around, whispering and staring in awe at Tommy's wings.

Y/n caught sight of Ranboo, he was talking to Puffy. Y/n choked up, they thought about the night... they felt horrible.

He stretched them out into their full wing span and brought them back in.

"I should really stretch before flying." Tommy said, rolling his shoulders back. Y/n rolled their eyes as girls flocked to ask about his wings.

Tommy tried to look over the crowd of people at Y/n, but Y/n just silently walked away.

The bell ran and Tommy pushed through the crowd towards Y/n.

"What's on your mind?" Tommy asked, walking backwards to face Y/n while they walked.

Y/n turned their head away to hide the guilt in their face. Tommy's smiling face went to concerned as he saw their expression.

"Hey are you ok? Did I do something wrong?" Tommy asked, putting a hand on their shoulder. Y/n bit their cheek to hold back tears.

"No I'm just fucking stupid." Y/n said, holding their face. Tommy stopped walking backwards and ran to Y/n's side.

"NO YOU'RE NOT!!" Tommy protested. He realized he may have shouted a little too loud as nosey heads turned to peer at their conversation.

"Oops- but you get my point." Tommy said, his tone becoming patient. Y/n struggled to say anything.

"I-" Y/n stopped themselves from talking.

"I have class." Y/n said, walking away at a fast pace. Tommy tried to walk faster to catch up but Y/n used their powers to push him back.

Y/n seemed to avoid Tommy. He was so confused, but also genuinely concerned since this wasn't a common occurrence for the both of them.

He kept his distance, either way Y/n avoided him. It wasn't the best choice on their part but they didn't know better.

Once school ended Y/n walked silently with Tommy back to their home.

Tubbo caught up to the both of them. He noticed the tension and broke the silence.

"Hey what's going on.. guys." Tubbo said awkwardly. Tommy waved while Y/n just shined a quick smile but didn't talk at all.

"My mom is planning a vacation two weeks after today. We are going to the Americas, she said I could invite all of you guys. Including Ranboo." Tubbo said with a smile. Tommy was very excited.

"HELL YEAH MAN!!! Where we going?" Tommy asked with a smile. Tubbo slapped his thighs for a drumroll.

"NEW YORK!!!" Tubbo said. Tommy and Tubbo just talked and laughed until Tubbo had to part ways.

Tommy forgot about Y/n, they still weren't talking to him.

"Hey you sure you don't want to talk? You seem sad, I mean you didn't even say anything when Tubbo invited us." Tommy said concerned. He was confused about what was going on.

"I'll tell you at home." Y/n mumbled. Tommy grabbed Y/n's hand, they flinched but let him grab it. Tommy cupped their hand with his.

"Your hands are cold." Tommy said, stuffing their hand into a hoodie pocket. Y/n hid a smile.

Tommy waved to Wilbur, who was eating a bag of Monster Munch leaned up against the kitchen door frame.

"Nice to see you two love birds back." Wilbur said with a smile. Y/n had a blank expression. Tommy shimmied his hand across his neck to symbolize. (No)

Wilbur shat up.

(S/F/E/N: I'm leaving this)

"Good luck." He mouthed. Tommy needed it.

Y/n sat on the bed next to Tommy.

"I-" Y/n caught themselves.

"Hey you can talk to me." Tommy said, he moved to sit face to face with them.

"When you died." Y/n managed to mumble. Tommy nodded.

"I went to wash my face in the sink. I couldn't stop crying." Y/n said with their head hanging.

"And Ranboo was there, when you couldn't. And.. he leaned in, and so did I. I didn't know what happened but I pulled away before anything happened." Y/n said, their voice began to shake. They could barely talk.

"Did you kiss him?" Tommy asked. His face was pale, but his tone was still warm.

"No, I pulled away before we could." Y/n said. They got surprised as Tommy pulled them into a hug.

"Just by you pulling away shows you're loyal. Plus does it even count if I was dead?" Tommy laughed, squeezing Y/n tighter. Although they were confused, Y/n still laughed at his stupid remarks.

"You should've told me sooner." Tommy said. Y/n looked away in guilt.

"I know, you were just super sick, and we all were still recovering I didn't know when I could." Y/n explained. Tommy placed a kiss on Y/n's cheek. 

"Wanna watch a movie? Next Thursday is Valentine's Day. So if we go now it won't be as expensive." Tommy said, handing Y/n a hoodie. Y/n smiled.

"Of course, but only if we sneak in snacks." Y/n laughed. Tommy nodded with a smile and grabbed Y/n's hand.
