As they walked out of the diner laughing and talking, they were all hit with a strong wind. They decided to walk there so the walk back would be freezing. Y/n shivered as they were the only one without a jacket or hoodie.

Tommy noticed this, he was hesitant to lend Y/n his. It was one of his favorite hoodies, a light pink sweatshirt with a cartoon drawing of a cigarette with the message "Smoking kills" below it. His hesitation ended as he noticed them shivering, massaging their arms to keep cover from the cold.

Tommy took it off and handed it to Y/n, a soft expression in his eyes. Y/n hesitated. They wanted to refuse, but they didn't think pettiness would help them.

Chapter 62: Mixed Feelings

Y/n took the sweater, with a bright red tone in their face. They slipped it on, which felt much better. Y/n could feel his body warmth as if he was embracing them himself, but they shook these thoughts from their head.

Ranboo and Tubbo exchanged appalled expressions.

As they arrived back into the house, the mood had been a lot lighter than last night. Of course Tubbo and Ranboo wanted to renew the movie night. They played several disney classics, of course with constant chattering and bickering.

Hours had passed, Tommy offered to get food with Tubbo. Ranboo and Y/n sat in silence.

"So what's going on with you and Tommy?" Ranboo asked as soon as the door shut behind them. Y/n was caught off by the sudden mood change.

"It's hard to explain, if I knew I'd tell you. But I'm not important enough to be told why." Y/n with a sour tone. Ranboo raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure about that?" Ranboo asked. Y/n took a moment to think.

"Have you ever hated someone so much you want to kiss them?" Y/n asked, this was the simplest way to put it. Ranboo tried to make sense of what they said.

"I'm going to assume you still have feelings for him." Ranboo asked, Y/n sighed. It was a very difficult question to answer.

"I feel like I want to hate him, but I really can't.'' Y/n said, stuffing their hands into the sweatshirt.

"So I'm guessing that's a yes?" Ranboo said with a chuckle. Y/n bit their lip nervously.

"Yes." Y/n confessed with a sigh. Ranboo looked away for a second.

"I'm guessing he didn't tell you why he broke up with you." Ranboo asked. Y/n broke eye contact.

"Yup, you could've guessed how that went." Y/n said sarcastically. Ranboo noticed they were getting fidgety.

"I'm sorry, I don't want to invade. How have you been besides that?" Ranboo asked. Y/n looked away.

"I'm okay."

Tubbo and Tommy came back, they brought food and laid it all out on the coffee table between the TV and the couch.

They all sat down to eat and chat.

Tubbo had fallen asleep and Ranboo had to drag him into the room to get him to sleep comfortably in his bed. Tommy and Y/n were left together, Y/n was on the other side of the couch.
