Okay, so I love to read werewolf books and when I discovered all the werewolf books on Wattpad, I was thrilled. It was like a fucking gold mine for me. So, I promptly began to add a couple to my library and began to read them. That's when I discovered the "werewolf wimps" as I like to refer to them. They're these female lead characters within the books that are weak and damaged and wholly unsatisfying as strong presences. Let me ask all the authors who create these types of characters: why? Why do the girls have to be scared and timid and weak and give into the possessiveness of their mate? Why can't they be strong and brave and sarcastic and funny? Why do you have to take us, women and girls as a group, back to the dark ages when we were considered defenseless and in need of male protection?
People, you're driving me crazy! I have literally resorted to yelling at my phone and then throwing it across the room! Please, please, please, please! Would someone make a character that I can enjoy to read about and laugh with when she makes fun of a guy instead of throwing a temper tantrum when she has another scared-shitless moment? Please, please, please!
