Anyways! Let's talk about followers. First followers, more specifically. Their exciting, right? Make you feel accomplished? And sometimes, you feel obligated to follow them back, correct? Well, some people count on that feeling of obligation. They want you to follow them back. They want you to feel as if you are in their debt. But guess what? You're not. They're the ones who decided to follow you, they're the ones who clicked that button. It's called followers for a reason. It's not some sort of exchange system where you have to pay them back. And if they unfollow you just because you didn't return the "favor", that's their business. You don't need to waste your time on people who're just in it for their own personal gain. Unfortunately, this doesn't only pertain to Wattpad. It spreads across most social media. Which fucking sucks.
To those people:
Follow because you want updates, not because you want your own numbers to go up. I don't owe you anything.
