"This story isn't going to be very good. Please help me by pointing out mistakes and everything! It would be so helpful of you! Thanks! Enjoy!"
This quote, I bet, could be taken from about a million of the initial notes by the authors in their stories. It's a common sight for people to be asking for help when it comes to editing from their readers. It is also a common sight to find those very people going off on anyone who so much as points out one misspelling.
'Why are you being such a bitch?'
'Who made you ruler of the world?'
'I see the mistake! God, you don't have to be an asshole about it!'
Really, people? You're the ones who asked for the help in the first place! Come on! How is it fair to your readers if you turn into a bitch every time they try to give you that help? I don't know about the rest of Wattpad but I can safely say that I would rather stop reading your books, no matter how much I'm enjoying them, than to put up with your shit. Think before you type.
