Missing pieces and broken heartstrings
His love for her he timed infinity
She smiled politely but struggled to believe
Always questioning why he'd love someone like me
He stayed beside her
Encouraged her and more
He reminded her of her worth
And when life was tough she remembered him and all his love he'd poured out over the years onto her
Then a smile spread across her face
She remembered her value and she was loved and embraced
Though she often doubted her worth
He'd remind her of her attributes
And she would smile and know the words rang with truths
She knew he was the one
No one had to tell her he was
She just knew
It was there their love began and there their love would grow
She was meant to be his
This he always knew
And love being the great vast thing it is
They fell into it and here it they sit
Arguments and trifles
But they don't let it define them
At the end of the day
Happiness and love wins
And some would say
Though life is hard, they found happily ever after in the end.
