After a long trip, they finally reached Xiao Hua's base. The pretty owner ushered them to come inside quickly when he saw the unconscious patriarch on Wu Xie's back. He was equally surprised to see additional members in costumes whose condition was not any better. They were led to the deepest part of the base which looked more like a regular house.

Xiao Hua offered a big room with one gigantic bed inside. Soon, Wu Xie put Qiling down gently on one side of the bed, while Hei Yanjing laid Wen Kexing on the other side. Zhou Zishu followed his soulmate and sat beside the sleeping immortal, checking his pulse and qi. The head of the Xie family didn't forget to provide some new pairs of clothes for them to wear.

"Hei Xiazi, Pangzi, follow me." Xie Yuchen didn't feel any awkwardness when he called Hei Yanjing's name. It was his habit when he was being serious after all. He gestured at those two to go out of the room and talk.

"Wu Xie?" His call startled the spacing out boy who was staring at the two unconscious beings on the bed. "We might need to hear yours too. Wanna come?"

Everyone was able to see that the puppy boy was reluctant to leave. Yet, there's nothing he could do either.

"Wu Xie, why don't you take a bath first then go with them?" Zhou Zishu proposed, hoping it would distract the boy.

The said person looked at his father whose complexion was better than earlier. After pondering for a while, he shook his head—unwilling to leave. "I'm fine."

"No. You stink, brat!" retorted the stern father.

"What—?! I'm not!" He stood up and began to whine, switching instantly from a gloomy mood to his usual childish demeanor.

"You reek of blood, and so does Qiling. Besides, I don't want to see you two in those disgusting clothes." Zhou Zishu stood and walked to Xiao Hua. "Young master, allow me to show our gratitude for sheltering us here." He bowed with both arms stretched in front of him. "I'll make sure Wu Xie joins your discussion after taking a bath. Also, if it's not a burden for you, may I request a small favor?"

Xiao Hua was taken aback by Zhou Zishu's attitude and his polite words. The way the man acted was kind of strange, in a good way. He looked like from a royal family with a great education. Still, it gave an out-of-place feeling. The pretty boy had never encountered a family with such a high quality mannerism. Moreover, the long-haired men's attire was definitely uncommon, unless he was a cosplayer.

"Father Zhou, no need to be that polite. He's my childhood friend, Xiao Hua. You can ask anything from him," interjected Wu Xie.

"Really? You're lucky to have such a generous friend, Wu Xie. Make sure you thank him personally later. But still..." The black-haired immortal flicked on Wu Xie's forehead. "Politeness is something every man must possess, brat! Also, even though he's your friend and generous to you, you can't depend on him too much and take advantage of his kindness!"

Being scolded in front of everyone made the puppy boy lower down his head. He scrunched his lips, wanting to defend himself, but he ended up pouting since he couldn't find any good and convincing words.

Zhou Zishu chuckled and ruffled his son's hair. "Stop sulking. Now, go take a bath."

"Fine. Xiao Hua, where's the bathroom?"

When the head of the Xie family was still stunned—staring at Zhou Zishu, Wu Xie shook and called him for the second time. "Xiao Hua?"

"A—Ah... Huh? What did you say?"

"The bathroom."

"Oh, just go right and turn left."

"OK." Then, he strode out.
