Oh, God!! I really love writing the father-son's interaction! I can't stop!! >,<

I'm sorry!!

Outside, Wen Kexing was standing in the middle of the vast area full of snow.

"Do we have to perform a series of movements or spar with each other like usual?" asked Wu Xie.

"No. You need to defeat me, three of you."

"What? Three of us together? Including Xiao ge?"

"Which part of my speech is unclear to you?" mocked Wen Kexing while fanning himself elegantly.

"No, I mean.... are you sure? Isn't it unfair?"

"Is it?" The healer frowned. He closed the fan and tapped it on his chin, thinking. "It is indeed. So, I'll refrain myself from using my qi."

"What?!" Wu Xie was dumbfounded by the unexpected feedback. "That's not what I mean!"

"Oh? So, do you mean I will lose because you think I'm like some fragile women who can't defend themselves?"

"No! Of course not!"

"Then, what are you waiting for? Attack me anytime you want. If you want to make some strategies first, it's also fine with me."

Wu Xie looked at Zhou Zishu with his puppy eyes, begging for some help. The man only shrugged.

"Just do it."

Hearing that nonchalant answer, the boy stared at his friends.

"Why not? Just treat it as an additional part of our training. Besides, it's three of us and we have our Xiao ge. It's gonna be a piece of cake," said Pangzi reassuringly.

"You don't know," interrupted Qiling.

"Yeah. Father Wen is insanely strong." Wu Xie added.

"Don't worry. He just recovered. He probably can't use his full power. Let's just do it."

Wu Xie gave in to Pangzi's optimism. He just hoped that they could perform well enough to gain his fathers' approval.

They discussed the strategy briefly before standing in position, perfectly creating a triangle to trap Wen Kexing. The healer just stood there leisurely and fanned himself even though the weather was beyond freezing as if telling the world he was letting his guard down. Yet, his aura was so dark and dangerous. A minute later, the three of them dashed towards him to attack at the same time with their daggers. Their attacks were like children's games for the immortal, he barely needed to use his hands to defend. The Iron Triangle kept running here and there while Wen Kexing only took a few steps to dodge without removing his left hand from his back.

"Is that all you've got?" He mocked them again. "A-Xu! Are you sure they're not slacking during the training?"

His A-Xu said nothing but a loud snort.

"Damn it! He's looking down on us!" cursed Pangzi who never got a chance to get closer to the immortal.

They fought for about two hours but no one had succeeded to even touch the healer's robes. It was clear that the fight burdened their physical condition greatly. Moreover, they were on the peak of the mountain. The oxygen supply in the air was thin to begin with, making it hard for them to breathe. Wen Kexing realized it and planned to end the trial, but it seemed his guest thought differently. He kept charging and fueling his friends' courage. Judging that it would not do any good for them to continue any longer, the healer prodigy made the first move. Without manipulating his qi to move fast, he managed to leap towards Qiling.
