Luffy opened his eyes to see everyone surrounding him then shanks asked "are you ok Luffy" and Luffy responded with" I feel better than ever " but the whole bar was asking him if he knew what he ate but Luffy had a confused look and they screamed you ate two devil fruits. you gain power from the fruits but you lose the ability to swim. Luffy had an amazed look on his face he did not care if he couldn't swim he has powers now. as soon as everyone was done yelling at him he asked shanks what his fruits are? shanks say "you ate the atom-atom fruit that is a logia that allow you to turn into and control atoms and you ate the gum-gum fruit paramecia that turn you into a rubber man.

shanks were amazed at how fast Luffy grows he taught Luffy how to control his devil fruits and haki he was surprised to see that Luffy already knew about haki but was even more amazed at when they were sparing he felt a bit of haoshoku Haki in Luffy's punch.
at the port of dawn island was the man with the title of "the greats swordsman" Dracule Mihawk heard that his rival shanks were in the east blue so he wanted to spar but he saw shanks with a little boy and was interested when the boy asked to be trained in swords so he wanted to help his friend. Mihawk and shanks trained Luffy in swords and Luffy found out something he can do with his atom devil fruit. Luffy asked Mihawk if he can hold yoru, Mihawk was confused but still, let him as soon as the blade touched Luffy's hand the sword glowed for a minute then duplicated but the quality of the sword was different it was even better than the quality of a supreme grade sword. Mihawk and shanks were amazed at the quality of the blade but the sword was still too big for Luffy so he did the same thing to shanks sword gryphon but made it a little smaller. Mihawk, shanks, and Luffy continued to train for two months.
(2-month time skip)
today is the day that shanks and Mihawk will leave they trained Luffy nonstop for 2 months his growth was amazing he can constantly use haoshoku Haki in his strikes he is descent in kenbunshoku and busoshoku haki but still needs work. Shanks gave Luffy his hat and told him to peruse his dreams. while shanks boat was leaving Luffy screamed out that he will be the next king of the pirates and change this world for the better and he screamed that he let out a wave of haoshoku Haki. after that Luffy went back to the party's bar. Luffy was in the bar eating and talking to makino when the Legendary bandit higuma the bear walked back into the bar he was disrespecting shanks and his crew and was touching Makino inappropriately and Luffy had enough he started to scream at him and told him if he wants to disrespect the people he loves then he will kill him. higuma was laughing so hard he dropped to the ground then got up and pulled out his sword and tried to attack Luffy but when he swiped down he did not hit anything and was confused. Luffy solidified himself and walked out of the bar he pulled out gryphon jr the god-tier blade. higuma and his goons came out of the bar and saw him about to use his move shin Sekai e no ichigeki causing red lightning to rain down and strike the ground around him.
