Third person POV
Suki watched as Eric played with the other kids in the playground her smile was small and barely noticeable but she felt as though someone was watching her. Though, it would probably be some of the people passing by, watching her and Hawks sit side by side on the park bench "Excuse me, Hawks? Would you mind if we got a picture together?" A woman asked as a group of his fan girls stood giggling in the back, he grins and nods, but before he left the bench he looked over at Suki who payed no attention to him or his presence. "Let me just ask my boss-" Hawks winked at the girls before completely turning his head to face Suki "Don't ask me, their your fan girls" Suki glanced at Hawks then to the girls then back to Hawks with an 'I don't care, do what you want' look. Suki looked back and continued watching Eric and his friends with a soft smile she heard the girls giggling as they each took a photo with Hawks she even caught them mentioning her being his boss a couple times "So, she's your boss? She doesn't seem to like you very much" A girl muttered to Hawks as he continues taking pictures with the girls "Yeah well, she doesn't like heroes too much, thinks they draw too much attention for the public eye" Hawks explained with a teasing expression the girls blush at him. "Aunt Suki!! This is my friend Keenan, Keenan this is my aunt Suki She looks mean and scary but she's super nice!" Eric announced happily to his friend as Suki chuckled the two run off to join the others kids; just as Hawks sits beside her watching Eric and his new friends play "So, Rikidou-" He cuts off quickly as she speaks "Call me Suki" Hawks grins to himself and turns his head to face Suki "Are you warming up to me birdie?" He grins widely at Suki's sigh of regret "No. And what's with all these stupid nicknames?" Suki hissed calmly her expression remained blank and her eyes never left where Eric and his friend were at. "You've gotta be getting a little comfortable around me for me to call you by your first name. And if it makes you feel better I can give you a different nickname something that'll fit your personality well" Hawks deepened his voice to a slightly, seductive tone that he used for a random girl that he seduces when heartbroken. Suki growls glancing at him then to their surroundings, Suki felt as though something was off about the air around them, she wasn't entirely sure Hawks was feeling the difference to or it was just in her head, but from the looks of it, it was. "Calling me by my last name is too formal. And whatever nickname you give me won't change what I feel about you" Hawks grins wickedly as the two met eyes "And, what do you feel about me?" Hawks winks still using his seductive tone as a look of disgust crossed Suki's face. "I feel that you're a selfish prick who only cares about what others think of you, you don't care what other people think about you, as long as you know someone loves you you'll do anything to be kept in that spotlight to down out an old scar that you can't get ride of. Am I wrong?" Suki hissed bitterly staring into Hawks' gold-brown eyes. A silence overwhelmed the two for a long minute just as someone let out a shriek and another yelled out "Villains!" Then a whole herd of civilians ran in the opposite direction Hawks looked to see what was happening and Suki ran towards Eric. "Eric come on, we're leaving. Keenan, do you know where your mom is?" Keenan looked so similar to Hawks that she could've sworn he was the father. Keenan shakes his head "Then come with us, we'll get to safety and find your mom" Suki held out her hand kindly, he hesitates but takes it shortly after. Joining the crowd of people the grip on the two boys grows stronger not wanting to get separated, a feeling of Suki's wounds twisting made her wince then that same feeling of someone watching them fell over her "We need to hurry let's go" Suki held onto them tightly while dragging them through the crowd in surprising speed, once in the clear Suki listens around for anyone calling for their kid "Aunt Suki, you're bleeding!" Eric shouted over the screams of others as a woman's voice caught her attention "Keenan!" A woman came running towards the three with a worried smile "Mommy!" Keenan shouted running for his mom as the two hugged with tears in their eyes. Eric pulled on Suki's shirt with worry, she was still bleeding "Don't worry Eric, I'll be fine. I've survived worse" Suki tried to make him feel better but she herself couldn't fight the feeling that someone was targeting her and Eric she sighs. "Come on, we-" She cuts off abruptly as Eric shouted for Hawks "Where is he?" Eric cried looking around with a worried face. Suki looks around as well but says nothing. "He must still be in the park!" Eric runs back through the crowd of people as Suki ran after him "Stop! Eric it's dangerous!!" Suki lost sight of Eric in a matter of seconds, she felt sick to her stomach and wanted to find him as soon as possible. Fortunately she had a feeling of where he was going, Suki begins her travels towards the villains catching a glimpse of Hawks' wings, he spots her as well and flies over quickly "Get to safety" He paused looking around for Eric only to notice a worried Suki with tears in her eyes. "Where's Eric?" He asked calmly looking around for him "He ran back in here to look for you! I thought he might've came here so-" Suki cuts off tears streaming freely down her cheeks catching Hawks' attention rather quickly.

A sudden explosion came their way and he grabs Suki by the waste and jumps out of the way of the shot, he goes to get up and looks at his hands, covered in blood he looks at Suki with worry, he then noticed her shirt covered in blood. She was straining herself and he knew it. "Suki, get out if here" Hawks demanded as Suki continued to look around for Eric "I'm not leaving without Eric!" She shouted loudly as another blast came their way. Again Hawks grabs Suki and jumps out of the way, Hawks goes to sit up realizing he was on top of Suki they meet eyes for a short period of time as another blast headed straight for them, quickly he rolls them out of the way just before it hit them. "And you won't! Get out of here and Find him!" Hawks shouted over the continuous blasts and screaming, his feathers start to spread out and drag civilians to safety. Suki looks around uncaring of the order she was given and continued looking for Eric holding onto the wound as she frantically looked around. "Eric!!" Suki shouted still teary eyed and fearful. "Aunt Suki!" Eric screamed bringing her attention to the battle. She saw him, struggling in the hands of the villain kicking and hitting the mans large hands. "Eric!" Without realizing it Suki had started running towards the villain full speed and empty minded, Hawks grabs onto her waste and arms keeping her from charging forward, she fought back of course. She continued to cry out and fight back the grip of Hawks feeling her wounds twist and bleed the more she fought. She wouldn't give up. "Stop being so stubborn! I'll get Eric back! Just get out of here!" Hawks shouted struggling to keep his grasp on her any longer. "Aunt Suki! Help!" Eric cried out in fear as Suki elbowed Hawks in the stomach and charged forward full speed and scared our of her mind. The villain grins winningly. "Not so fast! If you come any closer the kid gets it!" Suki stops abruptly wide eyed and breathing heavily anger flared through her body like wildfire. "YOU WOULD BRING AN INNOCENT CHILD INTO THIS? WHAT KIND OF VILLAIN DOES THAT!" Suki yelled hatefully at the villain. Suki stares at the villain glancing at Eric with worry, Hawks was now beside Suki with an angered face "We'll talk about your recklessness later" He growls quietly to Suki, she ignores him though. "A good villain would." He laughs loudly as fire hissed and whipped the air harshly. A few rescue heroes were here and taking out the fires while a few tried to get Suki to leave she refused and death glared the villain "A good villain? You call yourself a villain but your nothing more than a selfish bastard who would endanger the life of a child who has so much more to live for!" Suki yelled getting ready to run forward again just as Hawks grabs Suki and pulls her back "We have to do what we have to do, you understand that don't you?" Suki's eyes widened at his words. "I know you want Eric back, but by risking your life like this isn't going to save him. What if you die? What is he supposed to do then? This place would be lost without your stubbornness." Hawks whispered to Suki with a calm, well hidden worried look. "I know it's not! I'd rather die knowing my nephew lived, he'd go back to America and live with his parents. And this place? I'd be forgotten in three weeks." Suki hissed at Hawks "You're a pain in my ass, you know that kid" Hawks chuckled lowly removing a strand of hair that came loose on Suki's head.
