Chapter 14 how did I get here

Dream woke up with a warm feeling in his chest. opening his eyes he noticed the smaller boy next to him. his face was near Dreams' chest. If he was awake, he would hear Dreams' heart racing. 

Dream slowly moved his arm off of George, making sure that he was still asleep. Sure he was a heavy sleeper, they woke up somehow. Dream was up and placed the blanket back on George, watching his face go from uncomfortable from Deam leaving to more content with the warmth from the blanket. 

Clay sighed and walked out of the room, seeing no one around. Clay ended up back in his room, practically falling on his bed. As he did he heard his bedroom door open. The set of footsteps made their way over to the bed and made a slight dip where Clay was.

"You know if you talked to him about who you are then maybe you would have a chance." Sapnaps voice rang through Clay's head. Clay mumbled something but was blocked by his head still in the comforter.

Sapnap snickers, " what did you say?" Clay moved him to the side, facing his friend.

"I can't do that to him." Sapnap sighed as Clay flopped his face back into the bed. They sat in silence, waiting for the other to do something. Sapnap was gonna say something but Techno walked in.

"We have training." Techno walked out, not caring if Dream was ready. Dream got up and made his way over to the training grounds. 

Sapnap had been tagging along recently and helped Dream when he was wounded badly. Sometimes the king would come by and watch for a little before Ranboo or Bad would rush him off. Today, Dream had confidence that he would beat Techno. 

Of course, Sapnap laughed, knowing that Techno was most likely not using full strength. They had made it to the weapons when Techno appeared from a different room. He was holding a large staff, with a crossbow hooked on his side. It looked like a hassle to carry, but he walked with confidence.

"You will be using a dagger," Techno stated, placing the staff in the middle of the room. Dream looked up, curious.

"Why must I use a dagger?

"When you are in a situation where they have the upper hand, you must find their weak points, and use that to your advantage when you have nothing." Techno held a small dagger in his palm, not reaching his fingertips. 

Dream took the small blade in his hands. it was perfectly balanced for him. He knew that such a small thing in the right hands could do some damage, but could he do anything? Techno walked over to the other side of the room, not picking up the staff. 

Techno waited for the masked boy to be set, deciding not to be too mean, though he wanted to. Dream soon set up his feet and placed the daggers handle in his left hand. Though he was not left dominant, he could start with damage in the start, not to ruin his right. Sapnap had been standing to the side, waiting for Dream to fall. 

Karl and Alex had been in the area and noticed the sudden loud noises coming from the ring. They made their way over, seeing Dream and Techno going at it again. Karl spotted Sapnap and pulled Alex his way. Sapnap smiled, waving them over to where he was standing, even though he knew they would walk over to him. Before any of them could say anything, a loud grunt was heard, but not from Dream. 

All three looked over to see Techno without his staff and his crossbow out of his hands. Dream had his dagger but put in his sheath, he was holding the crossbow that must have been in Tecnos hands moments before. 

Both here heavily breathing as they had been fighting for a while. Dream moved the crossbow away from Technos face, reaching his empty hand out for Techno to grab.
