Chapter 2 SBI

"PHIL!" Tommy screeched as he plopped down on the newly mowed yard. Phil sighed as he turned round to see him dripping in sweat.

"What do you want Tommy?" Phil had stopped what he was doing because he knew if the boy had not direct attention, he would be a pain in the arse all day.

"We have been working all day! When do we get a break!" Tommy exclaimed, not moving from his position.

"Maybe if you stopped talking we would be done by now." Wilbur sneered at Tommy. Though they were brothers, they still bantered. Phil sighed as he continued to work for he knew the queen was requesting him to talk about a new member who would work at the castle soon. 

When Tommy noticed that Phil stopped paying attention to him and Wilbur had gone back to the outdoor pens, he quickly ran over to the horse barn where he saw his best friend Toby. Toby had just finished putting away a saddle when Tommy hid in one of the empty horse pens. Toby started to walk towards him when a loud bang from another horse pen scared them both. They screamed in unison but Toby much louder for even Tommys scream still scared him. Tommy went into a laughing fit.

"HAHAHAHAHA! You should have seen your face!" Tommy now rolling in the mud, dying of laughter. Toby now holding his chest after being scared the shit out of twice scaredly looked at Tommy like he was a crazy man. 

"I thought I was about to die!" he exclaimed, walking towards the horse who had bucked the gate to his pen. Tommy, still dying of laughter, got off the floor and walked over to his friend.

"Still was hilarious." Tommy calmed down as they both stood at the gate and looked into the pen to a large black horse, big enough to step on them like they were bugs. The horse was un-named, it had built up a reputation around itself. All they knew is that he was a royal horse. They had never known who's but, didn't want to find out if the horse had reacted like that to them. They stared into the pen as the horse had walked around in his pen. He looked like he was planning something evil if a horse could even pull it off.

"I don't understand why we keep him? We have never seen him been ridden before and yet he stays in his pen until we have Dave get him out into the ring, even then it seems like he would be better off in the wild." Toby exclaimed. Tommy snorted before saying, "You've never been ridden and we still keep you here." Toby didn't understand that joke.

"But I'm not a horse," Toby said. Tommy just sighed and walked to where the wheel bins were. "No Toby that's not what I meant," Tommy exclaimed. They were bantering for a while longer when Dave walked into the barn. He walked over to the un-claimed horse and opened the gate. The horse was in the back of the stall and was facing away from him. Dave had walked away from the stall and walked over to where Tommy and Toby were.

"I have opened the gait to the unnamed horse." He said in a low monotone voice. 

Both boys looked up at him and nodded.

"Just let him graze outside his pen, Phil requested that we do this early today, but didn't specify why," Dave explained and walked away quickly into the main room towards the castle. Tommy and Toby didn't pay attention to Dave when he left. They just kept working until Wilbur walked into the barn and saw that the horse was out of the stall.

"WHAT!" Wilbur screeched. Tommy and Toby ran to where Wilbur was.

"What's wrong?" Both boys said, trying to figure out what was wrong. Will had yelled so loud that Phil and Dave ran into the barn to see what the situation was. Wilbur suddenly turned around to the others to show his red face. You could practically see smoke coming out of his ears. Wilbur's nose started to flair. That is when you knew you were about to get your ass kicked.

"What the fuck were you thinking about letting that dangerous horse out!" He was upset to another level.

"You both have caused us so many problems!" Wilbur's hands were waving all over the place as he tried to get a sentence out without hurting the poor boys.

"Wilbur, calm down," Phil tried to bud in.

"No, Phil! Don't you see the problems they cause?" Wilbur interrupted Phil, turning back to the boys. 

"You need to grow the fuck up and understand that working here is a privilege and your gonna ruin it for us. I don't understand why the queen even hired you! I know, you and I, Tommy, are family, but sometimes I wish you and your dumb friend would just leave!" As Will was yelling he hadn't noticed that Phil had walked past him to take the horse out to the outdoor ring. Dave had more control of his temper and walked up to Will and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Calm down, I let the horse out." Wilbur looked stunned. The two looked back over to Tommy and Toby, both on the verge of tears. Will had gone too far this time. 

Tommy had issues ever since he was young. He had trouble trusting others for he had realized the cruel world at a much younger age than he should have. Wilbur started to walk up to the two in tears. Tommy flinched hard when he reached out for him. This hurt Wilbur. He had never made Tommy so upset that he had flinched away. Wilbur walked back to Dave.

"I apologize for my outburst." Wilbur looked up to see if Tommy would react. All he saw was Toby comforting Tommy as his body trembled in fear. Wilbur had seen his reaction and thought it was best to walk away.

 Once Wilbur was gone from his sight, Dave had started to walk away, knowing he was not very good with emotions, and decided that he would go visit the others in the castle. Toby and Tommy stood there before Tommy crumpled to the ground and screamed a horrific sound. This scared Toby and Phil as Toby held Tommy closer, feeling his friend tremble in his arms. Phil sprinted towards the two boys falling to the ground in front of them, holding on as tight as he could. 

Hi...sorry about the rough start. This will include lot of triggers throughout the story, but it will end with a happy ending!!!
