Chapter 3 this kitchen is so hard to clean (WHAT THE) short chapter

Alex had not been doing anything all day, He had been singing very off-tune original songs. Nicky and her twin brother Floris had been trying to work on a cake for the prince's birthday, but of course, could not due to someone being very annoying. They had been trying their hardest to avoid Alex, but he always knew how to press their buttons.

"Netherite, that's the way to go!" Alex sang as Nicky was losing her shit with this man. She turned to her brother to ask if she could kill him. Floris could only chuckle and shook his head. They kept working, but that didn't stop Alex as he kept singing until a hand was put over his mouth. He licked the hand that had stopped his awful singing.

"Hey! What the hell!" he turned to see Alester. Wiping the slobber off their hand.

"If you could stop singing for one second, then maybe Floris and Nicky wouldn't want to bite your head off." Alester pointed at Nicky who looked a lot calmer than she was a few seconds ago. Alex glared at Alester. He was pissed, he knew what he was doing and just wanted attention.

"I know that no-gender boy," Alex said. Alester was gender fluid and didn't mind Alex's comment at all.

"Well then, you wouldn't mind me taking you to go find Nick?" Alex's mouth was agape. He grumbled out of the kitchen. Alester gave Nicky and Floris a thumbs up and walked out.

"I don't understand how he has all that energy," Nicky said, trying to clean the dishes that Alex didn't do. Floris nodded his head to agree with her.

"I truly don't understand why he is still here," Floris stated, "All he does is a mess with us and sits there singing off-key!" The twins were bickering for a while. They decided to talk about something else when they heard footsteps down the hall. Alester entered in again, but Alex was not with her this time. Floris stopped what he had been doing and dramatically fell on top of Alester.

"Why thank you, my kind princess." Alester chuckled, trying not to let the boy in his arms fall to the floor.

"How do you put up with your brother Nicky?" Alester and Nicky laughed and Floris wiggled his way out of Alester's arms, only ended up falling to the floor, making them laugh even harder.
