i was playing with y/n and i's four year old son, elijah, named after y/n's twin and my friend. but that's not the point, basically we were passing the football when i hit one of y/n's favorite vase. she was gonna be pissed i cleaned it up and looked at elijah and wiggled my two pointer fingers in front of him 'don't tell mama' i said to him 'don't tell mama what' i heard y/n say i looked at her, shocked, i didn't think she would be home this early from her family's home. 'daddy broke your favorite vase' elijah said pointing to me 'dudeeeee' i said looking at him he smirked my smirk that he got from me and ran to his bedroom with alfie, our german shepard puppy, following him 'did you actually break my vase' y/n asked me as she put her coat and purse on the table 'yes i did and i'm so so so sorry y/n' i said 'it's okay' she said walking over to me she kissed me on the cheek and went and sat on the couch and turned on greys anatomy. 'your planning your revenge aren't you' i asked her 'yep' she said 'shit' i muttered

it was the next morning and we were all up, elijah was playing with his toy cars, i was letting the dog out and giving him food and water, while y/n was making her famous breakfast casserole. i walked into the kitchen behind y/n and wrapped my arms around her waist 'mamma is breakfast ready yet' elijah asked y/n 'it will be done in five minutes' y/n replied back i kissed her cheek and she turned to look at me in the face 'you may want to go look at your priceless football on the porch' she whispered in my ear she walked away from me and into the living room swaying her hips jesus christ what have i gotten myself into
