^when you came back^ ———— A/N: sorry if this is bad and the others i may post today, i cut my head open last night and practically fainted and now i can't here correctly, i can barely even walk in a straight line, so sorry if these are bad ———— you had been in nashville tennessee for awhile because you had to take care of your parents since they both were diagnosed with dementia and you also are to take over their company 'l/n enterprises' but today was a bad day your dad, who has it worse than your mom, tried to run away and called your mom the devil so your mother was emotionally done with him and hope not calling you when you texted her made it even worse. the only good parts of this trip was that you took over the company and got a dog

(my dog) and you named her lucy. did hope know? no but you needed it for mental support and it makes your dad happier and your mom happy. but you really needed this dog when you walked into your parents house and found your dad dead and the next day your mom. you couldn't even stay in the same house that they lived in, it was too emotionally hard for you. how to get away from all of this? go back to the salvatore school without anyone knowing you knew everyone would be surprised because they thought you were coming home in three weeks but of course that changed. but let's get to the good part you just got off your plane with lucy and ordered an uber, it was about a 50 minute drives but you finally arrived 'miss we are here' the driver said 'do you need any help with your bags' 'no sir but thank you' you said getting out of the car you got your bags and walked inside, there was nobody in the halls because today was the day everyone had first period and you knew exactly what class hope was in but you had to drop your stuff off in your dorm room that you share with hope lucy was still pretty small so you picked her up and brought her to geography class where hope was. you knocked on the door and the teacher waved you in, you looked around for hope but couldn't find her until you felt a kiss on your lips 'your back' she mumbled against your lips 'i'm back' you said she kissed you again 'why are you back so early, not that it's a bad thing, because it's not' hope said you looked sad 'and what are you carrying' she said 'a dog' you said and showed her she picked up the dog as you walked over to the teacher 'can i borrow hope for a second i need to talk to her' you said 'of course y/n' he said you walked over to hope and grabbed her hand pulling her out of the class. 'where are we going' she asked 'our room, i need to talk to you about something' you said you pulled her into the room and sat her on the bed, lucy jumped out of her hands and started playing on the beds with the toys you brought you looked away from lucy and to hope, who was already looking at you 'i came home early because i got the work done and mom and dad passed' you said starting to cry hope had tears in her eyes too because she was very close to your family. she remembered when your dad and mom were healthy and how your dad always dragged her into the yard of your big farm to play football and how when they were done playing they would walk inside the house and smell all the food made by your mom. she hugged you as you cried, she laid down on the bed and pulled you onto her chest, while lucy cuddled close to you when she saw you sad. 'this is gonna be hard' you thought before drifting off to sleep
