^when he woke up and you weren't beside him^ ———— stefan had just woken up. he looked to the clock and it read 9:24 am. he looked to his left looking for you but you weren't there. he started to freak out a bit. he got up, got dressed, and walked downstairs and saw you in the kitchen making cookies with yours and stefans daughter, carly. you were in his shirt that was really big on you and your sweat pants. carly was 6, you fell pregnant with her right when you and stefan started dating. you and stefan have been dating for 6 years, married for 2. you had your back facing him so did carly you both were looking at the cookies in the oven. he came up behind you and snaked his hands around your waist, pulling you close to him. 'hi baby' he whispered in your ear, still having his morning voice 'daddy' yelled carly 'hi hunny' he said picking he up 'guess what' she said starting a conversation 'what' he said back 'we made cookies' she said with a big grin on her face 'cookies are my favorite' he said smiling 'i know' she said 'i smell cookies' damon said entering the kitchen with elena at his side carly got out of her fathers hands and went to play in her room, when you went up to elena and she came up to you, both starting a conversation, like you do every morning, and the boys did the exact same, it was that or they would go play basketball in the driveway or football in the backyard and you and elena would yell for them to come inside to eat. well that happened today 'baby we are going to go play basketball' stefan said looking at you ' okay be safe' you said to him 'we will y/n, after all he is with me' damon said you and elena both rolled your eyes they walked out the door right as carly came down the stairs to ask for orange juice, which you gladly gave to her, she ran back upstairs immediately though. you and elena went back to talking about drama, be relationships when the timer for the cookies went off 'i'll go get the boys' elena said once you got them out of the oven 'i'll go get carly' you said you both walked the opposite directions to get different people you wished it was like this every morning
